Starbound Progress Barometer (Q1 2014)

To cut down on all the "let the devs know my opinion" threads, lets do this instead.

Vote how you think progress is going on Starbound from Jan, 2014 to March 2014.


This will give them an easy way to see the general mood of the community, rather then wasting time wading through all the repeated topics.

Can I vote to have a neutral option?

 

If you are neutral, then you do not care - ergo you should simply not vote.

So a lack of a vote would be the neutral answer.

I love Starbound, but I do wish it would update a bit faster.

 

I'm pretty satisfied now.

Hmm... I am neither as I am still determining that. Undecided. To say there is no neutral option is silly. The obvious one for neutral is undecided, which is what I am. It is like saying those that haven't come up with an opinion or rather decision on this matter doesn't exist. Could be both as well, since some do have mixed feelings too.

Oh well at least I got to say something about that. They appear to be going in a decent direction, but uncertain if will or is. I am one to just wait it out or see things as the come about... So press on and hope for the best. : D

 

Would love to see them roll out content a bit faster. A major update every two weeks would be great!

 

Listen, development takes a long time. In every game that is early in development the community is full of people discussing this, but you're not doing any good. They will work at there own pace, and complaining won't help, the most it will do is slow them down, so stop complaining, and be patient. But thats not really something most people can handle is it?

 

Complaining about complainers obviously helps :/.

Honestly, get out of this thread. The OP has asked a question and provided a poll. If you're unable to handle that just leave.

 

I'm happy with the progress that they are making, and hope they put in as much as possible to surprise us.

 

I think Chucklefish could focus a bit more on Starbound and the team for it rather then getting wrapped up in other projects.
That and so far they haven't added a great deal the last few months that wasn't cosmetic, tweaks, or placeholder. They have somethings, but I believe more progress could have been made.

i feel CF has been squandering resources. i feel CF has taken FAR too much for it to realistically handle.

CF is great at building a hype machine, but unless they make dirastic changes soon, the weight of that hype will collapse on them and end them as a "publisher".

 

Not Happy with the progression thus far. Remove placeholders and start making core changes.

 

I think neutral voices are important too. For all we know, for every person that voted up or down there is a dozen that didn't vote at all because their apathy wasn't represented properly. Please consider it for the June SPB.

 

Neutral doesn't mean I don't care, it means that I feel their progress is between satisfactory and unsatisfactory.

 

so then, you are apathetic. there is only "like", "dislike", and "dont care". if you can be said to neither like or dislike something, the only alternative is you just dont care.

 

Well.. if it isn't satisfactory.. on some level.. you're finding an issue. Be it one or two things only. So that would probably fall under unsatisfied. Even if only barely. Make sense?

He does have an option for a stronger vote then merely unsatisfied. You should just mention what those one or two things are, that way there is more then just numbers on the bar going on here.

 

Or I just neither like nor dislike it.

It's not that simple though. Some things I like, some I don't. I balances out.
