I must be wrong, I can't find the mention of it anymore... But it's not like all the devs are on the same page anyway. Omni mentioned it in a twitch live stream. I think.
Most of the guys on the vids are glitch, floran, or avian. Slightly disappointed because i wanted to see the human's new ship. But oh well. they're cool all the same. But hey, 24 hours!
It's awesome that popular youtubers all get advanced copies of games for free and then come out with LP videos days in advance so no one else even has a chance of getting an LP of a new game with any buzz surrounding it any exposure. Oh wait, that's not awesome.

From the round up, apparently nobody I particularly love has played Starbound! I'll give it a month and then scrub around YouTube.
Can we all stop complaining about Chucklefish's business decisions? The team thought it was good idea. It has already been done. There is nothing we can do to change it. Just be happy that the beta is coming to you very soon. If you do not like their decision, just ignore it! Don't go on complaining about something that can't be changed.
It is not fair. Why do the "most viewed youtubers" can early access the game before the rest of community? I am disapointed. There is no way that any newcomer could start an LP and grab some "target" from Youtube. These people you gave the early access will not continue their Starbound series because they already have some series with their main games like Minecraft. They will maybe do some 3-4 chapter's and that will be it. You thought ' -Hey, let's put a candy on our fans 24h before the beta release to hype them and clap our strategy' but your "smart" idea gave us a smash in the head because people like me wanted to start an LP and this move just prevents us form more views on Youtube. Thank you, Chucklefish. :\
