He's a great guy, But that whole episode rang an echo of the shocking performance of the Yogscast at i49. TB was brilliant as always, I felt sorry for him when he got "apparently" slightly irritated with Jesses behaviour. Where do I sign?
Well, you certainly included TB in your statement in a way that it looked like it applied to him too, and bitching is the short way of saying what you said back there. That said, you don't watch Jesse and TB play Terraria, do you? That's just how they set up their roles. Jesse's the annoying dunce and TB is the sarcastic smart guy. It's a classic comedy trope. It seems that you are upset that you feel somehow left out and that they didn't then just give beta keys to everyone with a pre-order and a YouTube account. Someone who is "just starting or going to start" literally means: I just want to play the game without being able to give any of the publicity for the game that the devs are hoping for. Seems like the whining of a kid who wasn't allowed to open a present on Christmas eve and had to wait all the way until Christmas morning - THE HORROR!

Its also true that Jesse's "fake" stupidity isn't everyone's cup of tea. It might have been unintentional or they may not have known that the Yogs already belittled the crap out of it at i49. You can't please everyone though I have nothing against Jesse, But he could.. Be alittle more adult about his comedy stance sometimes? Preferences Preferences. Yum.
You call it a charade and nitpicking, I call it showing you how to communicate more efficiently. The problem is that you didn't show a difference between TB's and Jesse's way of talking about the difficulty and you followed the statement about how TB mentioned the difficulty with a whole paragraph about difficulty being a good thing and people complaining too much about it, thus making it seem like TB bitched about it too. I'm simply telling you this to explain why you were misunderstood so that you might avoid being misunderstood in the future. Theirs isn't really a Let's Play, it's more of a talk show with gameplay. They are quite entertaining, but you'd have to get used to Jesse being (even) less competent and more malicious than usual.

I just don't like streamers getting keys before everyone else, most likely for free, when we're the ones who have been supporting starbound since it was just an idea, and they're just in it to make money off of it.

I wasn't going to reply to any of these posts, but I'm weak. These Let's Players ARE supporting the game. Free promotion is worth way, way more than the measly 15+ $ each of us payed. Each and every one of the more popular Youtubers is likely to bring hundreds or thousands of new players to the game.
Apparently we have differing opinions. Your attempt to show me how to communicate efficiently must have fell somewhere because I do not see it as that. You took my post/sentence at face value and deciphered it to your own end, You probably assume English is my native language, It isn't.
