Does someone know if the game is going to work on netbooks?

Depend what netbook you are using.
On my laptop (asus x550cc) game work but not perfectly fine (maybe i have to thrown in some more ram).
Few addons like to slow it also.

    edit
Iznano4nik how much memory do you have?

I'm talking about netbooks, not laptops. I mean, 1024x600 resolution, 1.6 GHz Intel(R) Atom, barely 1GB RAM. I know it sounds terrible, but is there any chance the game would work? (For now I can't even get past the launcher, because it's too big for my screen and I cannot reach the launch button :)

    With a Intel atom, nope.

on a laptop with a dual-core 1.0Ghz and 8GB RAM, it is barely playable (and i have a high tolerance for playability).

    so, my guess is "no".

Damn. If I knew, I probably wouldn't pre-order, but on the forums they said: "If Terraria worked, Starbound will too". Well, Terraria worked... Anyways, aprecciate your help :)

take note: just because it doesent work NOW doesent mean it wont work at all. we are only in phase one of the early access shindig, optimization comes at phase three.
