Bug/Issue Starbound not working

It might just be me having having this issue but I’m out of ideas of how to fix this problem. I’ve got only two mods downloaded here but recently Starbound will load to the point the chuckle fish logo is up on the screen and it’s usually right after the little laugh or before that the game will simply freeze and crash on me, im not sure if it’s an issue with steam, or something with my computer thought it is a new one I got only a few weeks ago, if anyone is able to help in any way I’d greatly appreciate me, Starboubd is an amazing game and I do hope I can continue playing it soon
