I'm not hating or anything, but some monsters in the game just look odd. I think match their biomes and porportion should be better. Like i saw a cute bear with...spider legs? Lmao, and I think the monster colors should match their surrondings. Oh yeah, if you could make them have different sounds too, that would be awesome. I just feel that some creatures are abit on the tooo jokey jokey side. It'd be nice to see better looking more intimidating ones. Thanks for reading.

The only thing that bother me with the monsters is the fact that EVERY planets has life on it. Every planet got a set of hostiles, passives, and some birds of the two categories.

    Even moons, FFS. :D

The nature of the monster spawner makes them all totally random. I do agree that some of the mob sound effects can get grating after a while. (I'm looking at you whoopee cushion sounding mobs.)

By pure random chance, I was well into tier 4 before I heard a monster that didn't sound like a horse in distress.

Loooool. Screw Logic. On topic though, it would be so cool if we found desolates planets with fossils/ abandoned settlements, ruins etc. Oohh ancient technology foud on moons!

I honestly don't mind what parts the monsters are made of, it's just their colours often make them look out of place on their planets (For example blue/white monsters on a lava planet). I think that each different planet type should have their own palettes to generate monsters with.

    Very much this.

I ran into a race of fast predators on one planet that matched the grass colour, and wow did it make a difference xD - not only did they fit in, but they were a menace, I was always running into them by accident as I'd gotten complacent with wildlife standing out like a sore thumb.

Just imagine the off-color mobs as using their strange coloration as a mating display or something.

I can imagine this, but it'd be better to only be present on a few planet types (namely grassland and forest as they can have a variety of coloration).

Same, it must be the highest chance for sounds by far.

Maybe the sound of a horse in distress is just intrinsically better than any other sound in starbound. Almost like it was chosen by Kluex, himself.

That fucking sound effect in a Slime biome (place with all the poisonous water)...

Digging in such conditions during my Gold tiers is comparable to 'Nam flashbacks.

There are a lot of brightly-colored animals that stand out from their surroundings.
