All animations are done for the male sprite! I coudnt get a hair tuft i was happy with on the chest so I left it for now. It currently has the Human respawn animation and I may change it to the apex one as it would probably fit better. As you will see in the video there is 1 white pixel in the swimming animation. It's looking good, but I can't get a clear look of it's face. Can you take a screenshot of the werewolf?
Hmm, I think the back part of it's head could have a little improvement(the flat part), also, try adding another color to the whole thing to make it have more "noise"(idk what you actually call it)
I think it should be lighter brown, and what I mean is like applying shadows/lighting to it. I tried to find an image to explain, this is what I got: As you can see, a lighter blue is used, to give it more depth.
Can I make a suggestion? I feel like it looks almost too human... Werewolves are like bigger taller humans, you could make it taller? Or more butch? I was also, thinking you could remove the black outline and choose a darker brown. Another suggestion, perhaps making the hair on the top angled slightly backwards as well as the ears. So that is my suggestions, of what I think works but what do I know?! I'm no artist!
The outline is in fact brown. and ears are hard with pixels T_T. I will let Tifel decide on this since it is his request.
The outline is black by the hands and legs... and if you shifted the top of the ears back, I think that would suffice imho, though it is up to Tifel. Good point, though I am sure Xlotl could make some custom armour (also, just noticed that you're British (or write British at least), judging by the way you write armour. Only shocked because I haven't seen that many here... yet).
It could be an aim later down the line? Also, the thing I was shocked at was the fact that tifel100 was British and I haven't seen many British people here (we had a discussion in the ##starbound-modding chat about British English vs American English and how British programmers have to write in American English etc).
Just thought I'd let you guys know how cool I think this is so far. Can't wait to see the finished product. I'm no modder myself and have to grasp of how easy/difficult this would be, but I think it would be super cool if he ran on all fours. Just a thought! Keep it up!
I had this exact thought, it would be relatively easy to do (once you had the first position of how it should look, then just redoing each frame on the spritesheet). However, so if they did run on all fours then we would have to redo all the armour...

Although it wouldnt be too hard to do all fours movement it would take a long time. Thats a new set of frames for idling, walking, running, climbing, swimming.
I could use some floor-based bounce pads if you have the time, I'll stick some specs here: Preferably 16x8 but will also take 32x8, not 24x8 though. (small quirk with the way some of the API works) Bounce pad should be designed to look like it's built into the floor and sends the player diagonally upwards (top-left/top-right). Optionally, make another pad that looks like it would send the player directly up. I can add a second bounce pad for this. Animations are optional, I can probably manage those myself with a base image. Preferably give it an apex or aperture feel. I'll mention you in the mod description if that makes any difference.
Yeah, to make a Race different than the normal humanoid, it wouldn't fit, as all the races share the same hold positions and such.
Someone else asked for this at the start of the thread. When I finish this werewolf I may start on it and do them as 2 seperate skins kind of ( Westeller wanted more of a hidden trap kind of theme). I also want to do the Industrialbound stuff (so many cool ideas in this thread T_T) I will probably do the spring board stuff after christmas as due to various family comitments I will be unable to test animated sprites (no computer access) but I will still be able to make them using my netbook.
