Closed Starbound launch error? Can someone help me with this.

I played Starbound long ago. On the unstable version I believe. I changed it to nightly because I wanted to try all the new stuff out. However I now get this error, the game will not start.


Hope someone can help me with this. Really wanted to try it out.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and also do that file check. Neither has worked.

 

Delete your starbound.config.

Oh wait.. no didn;t fix it.. made it worse? Now the error log is twice as big ill get a pic

Also that starbound config keeps coming back after I delete it?

 

Having the same problem, deleted config like dunto said, successfully got to character creation, hit finish and then it crashed

Edit: Just deleted config AND universe folder and got it running, only on my ship right now will edit again if it crashes

 

Wow it worked.. I had to delete both universe and player folder. Now it works. Finally!
