Closed Starbound lagging second monitor

Hi all,

I've played some graphic intensive games before on my primary monitor - BF3, WoW 25 man raids, etc, and I've never experienced lag when watching videos on my second monitor, however whenever I dash in game or have any sort of pixel movement in game my videos tend to be extremely choppy if not frozen. I know it's pixel movement because putting my ship in hyper drive is the worst.

I don't understand overall. This game runs fairly low in terms of my CPU/GPU, yet lags my second monitor horribly.

I would be eternally grateful if anyone is aware of any solutions.
