TIE fighters don't come with life support, there's only a tiny bit in the pilot's helmet. You got me on the borg ship and stargate station, though.

We are talking about a game where mating via butt rubbing is a thing and we should complain about realism ?

Not whining, butt rubbing should be the NR. 1 way of mating of every living thing.

To be honest, the first post on this thread, the one that says "How to Improve" immediately followed by a picture of mass effect? I think that person needs to just play mass effect, if they're looking for mass effect. Starbound is not mass effect. Mass effect is not starbound. The Two do not have to be synonymous to both be enjoyable experiences.

    **EDIT

Also, to be totally clear, Mass Effect is not the greatest example of realistic Sci Fi or a great example of newtonian physics.

The Normandy has no engines besides ones that swivel slightly in the back.

How does it bleed off the inertia of thrust when Decelerating? Mass Effect.

How does it hover without dorsal or belly thrusters? We see that the drop-ATV has belly thrusters, so they're obviously needed... Why doesnt the Normandy need them, being much larger?

    Mass Effect.

How do the players have personal shielding? Mass Effect.

How do they have super powers? Mass Effect.

How does a GIGANTIC structure like a reaper not collapse under its own weight? Mass Effect.

... How do all the races of the galaxy all speak english?

    Mass Effect?

    Oh no. No. That's magic.

How does Omnomberry bread not destroy the game through sheer lameness of the name?

that being said, reset nights in WvWvW are usually really bad, wait for saturday/sunday to have a good match.

    DepressedNerd Hey, You!

The Mass Effect part is in my 1st suggestion.
The Newtonian part is in the 2nd.
Thank you for showing us reading comprehension and basic debating.

So instead of responding in a debate like this was supposed to be, you decide to be butt-hurt because everyone is shooting down your preconceived notions of "Realistic Sci Fi"? So there's fire in space, Big Flippity whoop. If you want to make a mod that replaces the "Campfire" in SB with a heating element, go ahead. The bottom line is, and always will be, that it is a "Game". Realism is not required, and those who would prefer realism CAN and SHOULD look elsewhere to have their wishes fulfilled. Don't be a whiny child and complain on forums.

I'll be the devil's advocate and say I actually liked mass effect, but there were a few times I rolled my eyes.

The third one had me rolling my eyes more than that time I had that demonic posession

Once I realized that Mass Effect & Dragon Age were essentially the same game with different skins I was done with both. One was SciFi with a ship & the other was Fantasy with a campground.
Also, ME was very short on unique content. Bases on planets would simply be mirrors of the same base; I.e., one would have a corridor to the left & the other one would have a corridor to the right but the layout would be identical. It got boring for me.
Sorry if I ruined someone's gameplay experience, just my observation as opposed to opinion.
    Thanks Bioware.
