    You are no-where near invincible with bandages. You WILL die in combat if you attempt to use a bandage, and it will serve no purpose. It is just used to recover after a battle.

    The "UFO boss" has a name: Penguin's UFO.

    "So that sums up my list at this current time, do remember you guys this is only the 2nd update and they have dumbed it down this much, Only the 2nd update. So imagine the 10th update?? Get what I mean."
    How the hell do you know that all of those updates are to make the game easier?

    I don't get what your trying to say.. isn't it obvious who I was replying to.
    Honestly.

    I simply decided to say that, more people agree now that it needs to be balanced in the other direction. Nothing more Nothing less.


    To tell you the truth Untrustedlife looks like a jerk.

    I am uncomfortable arguing with people.

    Hopefully that clears things up.

    Well, since you have yet to provide the context in which that quote makes sense (ie, what untrustedlife said that was "a bad idea"), I have no remaining considerations to consider you doing anything but tossing murky muck around. Reported.

    Possible trolling and alt account use. Could be wrong, but it seems to warrant further investigation, or so I think.


    Although I have been exposed to this sentiment before, I'm not sure if I entirely agree with it.

    Especially when you get nonsense like this that claims to be directed at someone else when I was the one who replied to thread to bring it back to a current topic (although it was fairly recent when I saw it on front pageof this particular subforum).

    Although this thread has become an unimportant flame fest, I wish to contribute something to the original point.

    The original armor system did suck, but there is an excellent suggestion on the forums for an alternative damage/armor system that would likely work well.
    I always found birds hard, but never found them to be OP. I am surprised by how easy they are now. Worse than that, if I try to run and dodge their bullets, the bird will turn around and fly away and never come back. ???

    Part of the problem with the game is that it requires little real skill to succeed. It requires a lot of grind. To make the game better, it could allow players more strategies for taking on content, and more challenging (not just harder, but challenging) content to take on. Birds as an example - I loved that they would attack at long range. It made me use the bow in early stages, the double jump in mid stages, and ranged weapons or double jump in late stages. I had to time jumps well so that they didn't just fly farther away or hit me with a powerful attack. They really were more fun than other bad guys. Now not so much. Ground bad guys getting stuck on the ground or charging endlessly into a wall (I think that's what they're doing) really makes it a bore.

    I want to feel accomplishment. I may make a thread of combat suggestions after I've worked them out and filtered my dumb ones, but let me just throw out a few ideas.
    Dodging, blocking, and countering. Timing based bonus damage. Combo damage (hit the same guy more times in a row to deal more damage to him or something). More attacks per weapon (I know that stances are coming, I'll have to see how those work). Stuns. Hit sequence combos (Click once for a slice, twice for a slice-slash, thrice for a slice-slash-stab, four times for a slice-slash-stab-swingyslash).

    Well, actually, I've gotta go, but there are a slew of other possibilities.
