    I agree
I think it would be fun to play on the Wii U.

What I am not agreeing with is the way you chose to respond to people. There is a difference between a respectable discussion and turning into a pointless argument. And as far saying what you feel there is this wonderful thing called thinking. It helps you plan out what you type. I have had to restructure this statement about 5 times so it doesn't come out to harsh, which is saying something. Like I said earlier, it's fine if someone disagrees with you, but if you supposedly type what you feel, then you are going to get into a lot more arguments, and some people will not be as kind.
On another note: No, Starbound should not go onto the Wii U. That is my personal Opinion.

Should we bring it to the Kinect as well?! Lets not spread to thin.

It was merely for shock value good sir, but it is a scary idea. Lets just see how the game turns out first before we chuck it on everything. Also, i don't do touch screens.

I respectfully disagree with you. While it would be cool if Nintendo developed a new flagship, the Mario and Zelda brands are deeply culturally ingrained. As many people as say they wish Nintendo would stop rehashing old games, there are a great many of us who want just that; the idea being that when an IP is so beloved, you want to see it grow and the interesting ways it'll develop.

If it goes through, I'm certain that Nintendo could use it.

You misinterpreted what I was saying. You pretty much thought I said "Zelda and Mario are bad franchises", which I did not say.
That is the problem right there. The Mario franchise hasn't improved at all except for graphics. It's still the same with some minor gimmicks thrown in like the motion controls.
Same for the Zelda franchise: Skyward Sword was good and all, but very inferior to the previous titles. The sky was empty, the dungeons were too easy, and there was way too much backtracking. Again, nothing new except the motion controls, which ironically made combat more repetitive.

There's no problem with having a long franchise, but when you see that its games are getting stagnant, it's time to stop.

    I understood you quite clearly:

    Hence my response:

I never thought you were saying "Zelda and Mario are bad franchises". If something's good, it's good and you want more of it. That's the natural way of things. OREO cookies are good and while I don't always want to eat them (Like I don't always want to play LoZ), I will always think they are good, and will never stop eating them. You want Nabisco to move on from making OREOs and come up with something new. I don't mind if they come up with something new, but I want to see them OREOs on the shelf and I hope they never go away. I also hope Link and Mario never go away.

It would be much better if they improved on them instead of rehashing them.
New good things is better than good things alone.

Nintendo is already flopping as it is they are destroying themselves. I don't know why they don't get it into their heads that they should just drop the entire movement system thing and who's idea was it so but movement into LoZ? also why do they make every single LoZ now to were you are stuck onto a path that is just stupid they should go back to Majoa's mask and ocarina of time to were the world was huge and open and give us a controller not some stupid movement crap that we get a rash and break out into sweat after 40 mins and then you have to put baby powder on that isn't fun its a game not a work out. so my vote is no starbound doesn't need its name taken down with Nintendo.

The fact that you don't like it doesn't mean they're failing.
Nintendo is as successful as ever. Especially with handhelds.

I agree Skyward Sword was the worst Zelda game ever, but still, there's people who like that stuff. And they are apparently the majority.

I never said their handhelds were a flop personally i think its the only thing that is keeping them alive. i honestly love their handhelds but they really did do damage to themselves when they dropped Sony and Square soft they basicly made one of the worlds hugest gaming name that isn't even their's.
