-- DISCLAIMER: STARBOUND DS IS NOT REAL, THESE SCREENSHOTS ARE MOCKED -- Originally meant for a joke on April Fools' day, but I decided to just share what I had instead. So you might ask: What would Starbound look like if it were being played on a DS? I've made a few mockups as to what it might look like. Tell me what you think.
How did you get it on your ds? It looks practical, and simplistic, yet it has all you need in starbound. Kinda getting Minecraft pocket edition vibe, and I like it.
Thanks for the feedback. As for the picture of it on my DS, I had to take two pictures and splice them together in an image program.
Starbound for Nintendo ds! Runs at an astonishing 2 fps! Doesn't the ds only have 64-128 mb ram? Reminds me of my first pc(512 mb of ram and a 700 MHz CPU) Starbound needs like 4 gigabytes of ram and a 2ghz cpu...
Well they managed to get games like Minecraft to run on the Nintendo DS and lower-end mobile phones. It'd have to be stripped down a bit but it could *possibly* run on a NIntendo DS. I wasn't really thinking about that honestly, I mean, it was meant to be an april fools' joke after all...
mcpe is terrible compared to pc, same with a pocket edition of well, anything. minecraft? For the DS??? at least i'm NOT running starbound on my laptop. Blegh!
At least I'm not, either. Maybe they'd get it to work on the new 3DS or something. They got both Minecraft AND Terraria to run at 60 fps on the 3DS. Well, at least a clone of Minecraft, but still.
at least you're not running starbound on my laptop. of course they probably wrote the clones in c or whatever the 3ds uses, not java(laggiest most volatile programming language)
