Greetings all! Recently, while waiting on the official trailer for Starbound, I decided to create my own fan trailer. Naturally I was limited to pre-existing footage from the current YouTube videos and various twitch streams. You should find the video embedded above, but here is the link to it just in case: click me I do imagine that the official trailer, once released, will be vastly superior of course.
Heh, if I could somehow get my own footage (if I were one of the secret pool of current testers) revealing it without permission would be a horrible violation of trust. By the time Beta rolls around; presumably the official videos (and the trailer) that have been created will be more than adequate. Though that said I may try my hand at something like this again should the inclination strike.
It's nice! There isn't yet enough content for make a great trailer, but with it's disponible you did a nice work
Great job! Could use some polishing though, the lag from Tiys stream, showing the freezed frames during the travel sequence between stars isn't showing the game from it's best side. Thumbs up from me though Edit: The intro could be half as long as well.
Its nice man Could use a deep dramatic voice over though! haha When I was reading the captions I was imagining some grungy deep manly voice
3/10. Nope i mean you did well but you can't play the game yet so you used videos that we know very well and no fantastic fight scenes
forget what fixelpixel said i've seen those videos 1000 times just like everyone else but the trailer was still beautiful. i didnt wanna be like that but he forced me you all saw it.. really though you didnt need to say anything at all mr. fixel
I liked it! It could use some polishig tough, for example the intro didn't need to be in the trailer, as the title says it is a fan trailer
Love it but I wish that they would of gotten a little more creative with the font but other than that it as a very well put together video! :catface2:
