And I mean it, let the XBOX release have the dot-eyed humans while Playstation versions get anime-eyed humans for their Starbound version.
I agree. We need to be grateful for all their hard work. Don't forget the great things they are doing over some small details that will come in time. Like said before you can play it on computer. I'd rather have te core stuff done than them focus on convience stuff.
The devs don't give out release dates far in advance anymore. From my understanding, they'll be looking into console ports post-1.0.
Is it cross plateform will I be able to play my PC version and play with my cousin if he has the Xbox version
Any word from Chuckle fish on this? I'd have totally already purchased this again on Xbox one if it were available. Only asking cause "this winter" from the standpoint of mid summer 2015 has long come and gone and not seeing any updates on the game preview front.
They have a working version which was demoed at some feathering a little while back. Outside of that I don't think any thing else has been mentioned. It will happen eventually.
Doubtful. Splitting up a screen would make playing rather tedious cus you would hardly be able to see your surroundings.
I didn't mean't like two regular playable character's. Remember "The Binding Of Issac: Afterbirth"? They had the problem, cuz both player's could go whethewer they wanted, and they could steal treasure from each other. Removing the option for second player would feel kinda dull, so they gaved whole new spieces for coop mate's. Starbound could have like second player drone that couldn't go futher than Space Magic Staff's range.
That sounds stupid. Where is the fun in being dragged around? You are at the mercy of the primary player, and have no freedom of your own to move around and do what you want, which is a kinda big part of the game.
Just because an idea sounds dumb to you doesn't mean it sounds dumb to everyone. I'm used to playing games with younger cousins like Little Big Planet where all players are on the same screen. I think that could be fun for couch co-op
And as soon as that dingle-berry of a co-op player wants to build a tower but cant because they are stuck within the screen, or wants to explore that cave, go after that monster that ran off screen, you realize you can't do squat. Little Big Planet is basically linear levels, much like Trine. Everyone is going in the same direction anyway, so it doesn't really matter if they are confined to the same screen. Starbound has the freedom to go anywhere, and you are stuck being dragged along. I never said others couldn't find it fun, I simply expressed my opinion that it sounds stupid.
