Closed Starbound Character Select Error

    "My Starbound isn't working...
    everytime I try to select a character, the game crashes and it shows this error message:

    I already tried to fix it using every single information in the FAQ."

    Looks like a nightly build error... Do you use them? Or do you use any mods?

    Delete your universe.dat file. If it doesn't work you must wipe your universe. If this doesn't work either you have to wipe your characters too. After this it should definitely work. In nightlies it can sometimes happen that you have to wipe the data.

    Now I'm having another problem... When I make a Server and try connect, says "Wrong Password"

    Open the starbound.config file, edit the server password (you can leave it blank).

    Closing due to no response from OP, editing the starbound.config as mentioned above should fix the second issue. Let me know if you're still having this issue and I'll re-open the thread.
