    1) Crafting stations activate the search box when opened: This has two negative UI implications. Firstly you cannot just press E again to close it like you can with chests (though E does work to close the window if you deselect the search box). Secondly you cannot press I immediately after opening it if you wish to open your inventory, you have to click somewhere in the window to make that work. I found that confusing for longer than I should have.

    2) Scroll bars don't work: I'm sure this is already on your list, not a big deal, but would be nice to have at some point.

    3) You can order your ship to fly to the planet you are at currently. Watching the stars fly by as you arrive back where you started.... Well I guess we found out the universe was round! And all that for no fuel too! ;)

    4) A "nice to have someday" feature would be a little different animation for stellar flight. Similar to the above, background stars flying by for stellar flight is a little immersion breaking.

    5) Auto stack: A feature similar to Terraria's would do wonders for inventory management. Go up to a container, press the button, and it would automatically take whatever is in your inventory that already has an existing item in the target and stack it. Bonus points if you can make it work in an AOE across multiple containers or make new stacks in the same container when existing stacks are full. Most people like being organized, nobody likes pecking through their various containers playing a matching game every time they go back to their ship.

    6) A Friends list / Auto re-invite feature would be nice. My desire for one probably exasperated by the current crashing / disconnection issues. Regardless, not having to type in my friends name to invite every time they connect would be nice.

    7) Alt tabbing out when in fullscreen mode reverts to windowed mode. A mode for borderless window would be VERY welcome and would be pretty easy to add, at least in the windows version.

    9) The time on the planet continues to advance while you are in your ship, however there is no indication of the time of day while in orbit. It would be pretty cool if at some point some graphics could be added so that you could see when you are flying over the dark side of the planet.

    10) Consumables with non-stacking effects are permitted to be used at any time, wasting that consumable. Bandages are an example. Effects should be queued, stacked, or consumption should be put on cooldown.

    11) At character creation human undy color can be picked, however there is no visual indication of what color you have picked.

    12) There is no way to delete a character in game. (deleting the relevant files works of course, however the name of the character is not on the files, so it can be hard to know which set of player files corresponds to which player)

    13) There does not seem to be a way to hide the helmet, you guys did nice work on the variety of hairs, it would be nice to see it in game!

    14) Changing / Providing an ingame means of, Hair & Personality post character creation would be nice. A use for the thought reassignment bed? :boo:

    15) When dashing forwards your cape does not animate. This results in it going straight up instead of animating to the back after the first dash (because you fall a little bit).

    Windows 7 64bit; phenom II + 2x nvidia gts 250s w/ SLI:

Upon clicking the launch button in the launcher, nothing happens. Starbound appears in my task manager but doesn't load up. If I click again, a second one launches but again doesn't show up.

If I manually close the first one from the task manager, the SECOND one finally shows up. However, I get stuck on the chucklefish logo and can't proceed.

So, I just crafted some Bronze greaves, which I used to make Silver greaves, which I did spent the last of my gold bars to make Gold greaves, and then, as a human, used them as part of the recipe to make Scout's Pants.

Only, instead of making Scout's Pants, the leg armor reverted back to Silver Greaves... >_<

Not sure if mentioned yet, and I tried doing a search for it but didn't find anything useful about it, but if you turn the resolution to the lowest possible the UI becomes almost impossible to read because it becomes very small. Also the game has 10-20 fps even on the lowest resolution when I go to the planets unfortunately, can't wait till some optimizations are done to play this game.

Also I'm just running a Lenovo L420 with an integrated Core i3 on Windows 7.

In multiplayer, when mining, fighting or looting together, loot always goes to the player with the lowest ping.

I had weird bug where my GUI suddenly vanished. I was walking on a surface and pressed something on the line of left-alt / space and x and my GUI was suddenly gone. I couldn't get to the game menu by pressing ESC or do anything else. I was unable to change my items with mouse wheel and I simply had to kill the game process. I was on my windows 7 64-bit machine. I hope I can reproduce it somehow and I'll edit this if I'm able to, if someone else has had this could PM me to tell me if they're able to reproduce it

In an Ice bubble forest on a threat level 1 snow biome I found an "unnamed item" which looks like a gun that shoots projectiles but alas it doesnt actually hit anything so its pretty much useless

No screenshot because the item detail gui closes when you press f12

"EDIT: Upon closer examination it appears not to be a weapon (yet) but to be a gun that shoots ice blocks so you can scale things with ease. All we need is to actually make it DAMAGE Things and name it and we should be done here

Here's some things to add to your list when you get around to it.

    - Sometimes selecting planet-systems (not solar systems) on the star-map causes the game to change to a blurry 4x zoom view. This can usually be fixed by minimizing and then restoring the window but sometimes attempting this causes a crash.

    - Flesh Blocks currently require Crystals to craft, rather than Flesh Strands.

    - Unsure if this is intended or not, but the Snow Infantry armor possesses 13 defense apiece, and offers incredible warmth, making it far superior to Gold (also 13 defense apiece) both in warmth and obtainability.

    - Unsure why this is happening, but sometimes trying to block attacks with a weak shield results in damage ignoring your armor stat completely, meaning that monsters that normally do 8-10 points of damage can suddenly OHKO you with 100 and sometimes 92. I use these values as an example because this happened to me in the game. I believe the shield I had was found on a level 15-17 world and I was on a level 23 world when this happened.

    Found a neat little bug/feature?

I discovered you can control your ship from another person's ship and use their fuel to travel.

Story: My brother and I are on his ship (both human) and I decide to show him how to travel to other planets. I load his ship up with fuel and decide to just pick a planet myself first and visit it. I load up the map and pick one, click go...and nothing happens. Click it a few more times and we're still sitting there. Not sure why, but I decided to teleport to my ship and, lo and behold, it's en route to the planet I chose, but it didn't have any fuel. So I managed to control my ship from my brother's map and use his fuel to send it off to the planet I chose.

He went to bed shortly afterwards so I didn't get a chance to recreate it. If I play any multiplayer again soon i'll try to recreate it to double check, but maybe someone else can confirm it.

    Bearo Contact!

    A bug I found:
When playing with another player, if that player sits or lays in a bed or chair, sometimes it will just show them standing up (even though on their side they are laying down/ sitting up)
Sometimes caused by leaving them and coming back (in and out of screen) or just randomly.
We communicated and he did agree that he saw himself laying down, while I saw him standing up. This has happened multiple times.

If you close the game, you can't start it up again in Steam without restarting Steam.

It will say something along the lines of "App already running".

    Yay for this thread! Sticky!
Here are a few I don't see on the list:

Items: Glitch Furnace cooks food instead of smelting ore. (Sad days, looks so much nicer than the starter furnace.)

Typos: In the codex, A To-Do List, part of the text on the 2nd page runs out of the window.

Enemies and Fights w/ them: Mini bosses under level 11 still fail to drop uncommon or higher items. Killed about a half dozen, I always get a common type shield.
Also, the mini bosses are randomized from the standard monster stock, I get it. But they look terrible blown up to 2x, very out of place and just laughable. They should have the dignity of their own library of big monster parts.

    Roxacemn Void-Bound Voyager

    Bugs:

    - Monster knockback on the player can push them into small places they cant normally fit into and result in having to dig oneself out. Usually into places that are 3 squares high.
    - Had one freak occurence of dirt blocks that werent being broken by my pickaxe, i got stuck in a tight place and the only way to free myself was to save and exit
    - When in bed, NPCs appear behind you and the bed sheets but infront of the bed making it look like they are in bed with you. I got to sleep with robot chickens. Yay.

    Quality of life:

    - As mentioned before, opening the crafting menu immediately activates the search box so you cant press C to close it straight away but must deselect search box first
    - A log of planets you've visited would be nice, just in case you leave things behind
    - Sort feature!
    - resizeable star map with a click and drag feature would also be nice

When structure is spawned underneath a water pool, the water sometimes stays in the air.
Falling down from water can cause absurd amounts of damage on any height.

    Exploit:
You are able to shoot creatures with rocket launchers and they won't become hostile.

    Bug:
Killing bosses on level 40 planets (possibly high 30s also) after the patch still only produces green melee weapons and occasionally no drops at all. (This was tested 23 times, 6 kills had no drops at all, the other 17 had green melee weapons ranging from Armor Pen 39 to Armor Pen 43).

Haven't seen it in this thread, so here goes!

    - There are several different types of Cobblestone with varying colors and textures, with the variants appearing in certain depths, however they all share the same name and icon in my inventory and they do not stack. These are just two of the cobblestone types found in the underground:
    - If water falls from an underground biome to another biome, the water color from its original biome will "stack" on top of the water in the current biome.

I found a simple bug that lets you teleport back to your ship whenever and where ever
    even if your underground

    steps to reproduce
    1) open up the list of songs you can play
    2) switch weapon while keeping the GUI open
    3) now try to play a song when you are holding something that isn't an instrument
4)you are now back in your cozy ship
