    In Windows 7 if you let the screen saver load while playing the game upon logging in/getting back to your computer the game will instantly crash.

    No bathroom/eating/mail breaks for you. So says the SoupNazzi

    I believe I am experiencing a world seed generation bug / error.

    I have seen some anecdotal evidence that different a OS running the same game version will produce different world seeds consistently, rendering a Mac user unable to visit Windows spawned worlds, or a Windows user unable to visit Linux spawned worlds.

    However, this I have physically seen to be untrue, as in the previous two versions before Angry Koala, I had a %100 match up rate for cords on my local Mac (10.8.5) to the multiplayer server which I play on, which is run on a Windows machine, though I'm unsure of his version of Windows. I was also able to use the cords provided in the forums without any issues and everything matched.

    After Angry Koala, I am now experiencing a 0% match up rate to the the worlds which are spawned based on cords given in the forums and the ones which spawn on the multiplayer server.

    The universes are the same, the galaxies are the same, the planet locations and names all match, but the actual world I drop onto is not the same as what I find on the multiplayer server anymore. We are both on the same update, both verified our files to make sure, all the latest patches and hotfixes installed from the developer as well. No mods used. Just straight vanilla.

    So it's clearly not "just because it's a Mac." As I had 0 incidence of this prior to the last patch. I was on a Mac, same OS, same computer. This suggests it's not related to my OS "just working this way", rather something else is going on here which has altered the way my game is rendering the algorithm of the seeds. Perhaps it's OS related at the core, but it's not a fundamental feature that's intended, I'm sure.

    I would like to point out that I've seen other Mac users who say they too, do not or did not, have any cross platform issues with world generation, able to share the same cords across to different players on different servers without issue. I have also never seen a Developer post or log indicating that this is an intended feature (by that I mean the lack of cross-compatibility between different operating systems to share world seeds).

    I'm frankly a little surprised at how something which people have been hammering on about being "Just how it is" and "A known issue", has yet to be addressed or put in the list of bugs. It's quite game breaking when you want to share something you found while exploring solo only to learn that your single player games produce things which you can't share with your friends on a multiplayer server, at all. Ever. Not to mention irritating when you were able to for 80+ hours and then it's spontaneously taken away.

    I also want to mention that Minecraft, which has been using this form of seed/vector world spawning across platforms for a long time, (using a pseudorandom number generator (PRNG), which is the conceptual basis for world seed generation in my understanding) has not produced an effect in which different platforms or OS's using the same game version produce consistently different worlds. It has been noted that it's been seen before but untested and unverified, also not common. So I don't think, unless the developers have stated so elsewhere, that it's supposed to work like that.

    Hi, first time post, big time fan. I've notice a few minor things here and there (i'm not bad a finding bugs, like making Lara Croft fly in TR2) but this one was a bit more serious...

    As you can see the sectors from between A & X have disappeared. This happened after i used the Ferozium Tech Upgrade, however the Message box simple said that "New blueprints were added" and nothing else which instantly had me worried... I will find enough material to craft another Tech Upgrade, use it, and post back as soon as i have enough time...

    [Edit] I just realized I am no longer on the same planet, my current home planet has disappeared and and by chance been placed on a level 1 glitch race planet the just happened to have a generator/reactor that exploded when I used it spewing out 10 or so "Matter Blocks"

    did you happen to do this right after updating your game cause if so this is standard for what happened. you will need to make all of the upgrades again for your char i did my friends did everyone did.
    if however this happened after you did all this then got to ferozium and used it for it to happen then hats a dif story.

    Few things i wanted to bring up you might already know about them but the usable items for upgrading such as Ferozium Tech and Pixel Printer should disappear after use because they just take up space and im not sure what would happen if i were to put them in the trash but the way i see it is that they should disappear after use like the Starmaps do and another thing that you should work out is how to get rid of matter manipulators because everytime you guys have wiped the maps you get another one if you already had one on you so i have multiple now and no means to get rid of them so thanks for hearing me out great game by the way!

    Yea, that happened to me as well, I lost my ship and everything in it but still had my equipped stuff as well as my inventory. I re-used the Tech upgrades to get to where i was before (wearing the Dark Knight set) then went passed it with Aegisalt Tech upgrade which worked fine, except that it did not disappear after i used it.... should i delete it or give it to another player perhaps?

    Planet had less than normal gravity (could jump higher) but a dungeon (above ground Apex lab) had normal gravity where it was placed.

    I apologize for posting here wasn't sure how to do it a bug I found is when on a planet with acid rain you still get hurt underground in open areas that are covered behind above and on the sides.

    People post this too often. It's not a bug. The dungeons were designed with normal gravity in mind. If the gravity is too low, you can't make the jumps, and i guess they didn't want it too high either.

    Bugreport since start till now:

    Game save system is not working really fine.

    I mean - if i defeat boss and can travel to delta sector i can't do that on multiplayer, because i need to defeat him once again. So need to spend twice the amount of money and materials for summoning every single boss ingame while i try to play with friends. Same goes with quests.

    Solution: save should include region unlocked information. While i was on my own single-player ship i can get access to delta, so i should get it even if i take attempt to play with my friends instead of boring repeat of boss kills for myself only.

    My game just crashed. I clicked onto the quest log and then completed quests. When I clicked on the quest 'First Contact' the whole game spazed out with a dozen error messages and died.

    In relation to my above bug post about Mac vs Windows vs Linux cord mismatches... I have some test samples if anyone wants to try them and see, on a mac, windows or linux based system.

    Note: These spawns were done with a new character I created after the patch Angry Koala came out. No mods. Total Vanilla. The universe / planer names / galaxy display and available planets matched up for me, just not the surface spawn.

    I have encountered a few very minor bugs, and this is the only place I can find to report them. Is there some bug tracking database I should know about for reporting?
    Anyway, on to the very minor bugs (if they can even be called bugs), my apologies if they have been reported before:
    1) Items "boltbulb" and "boltbulb seed" have their descriptions switched.
    2) Some bookcases (I've noticed the "cool bookcase" and one other) and the cash register are marked as decorative rather than as storage. Is this intentional?
    3) Background decoration "bunny altar" (which I found in an avian tomb) takes about 110 seconds to harvest using a stone axe. This is an order of magnitude longer than anything else in the area, when using the proper tool (and as far as I can tell, axes are the proper tool for "bunny altar"s).

    I had a crash for the first time since I started playing. I looked around and searched for an appropriate place to post my report but this is the best area I could find. If there is a better place for posting reports please let me know.

    Circumstance: Just finished defeating the first tier boss and was crafting Steel Ingots when I crashed.

    This is due to a (known) bug with certain .abc files that use annotations that lead to the crash. Avoid the new songs and you should be fine. Apart of the bugged .abc, there are some instruments that are known to not play along well (sorry^^) atm, so that's another thing to consider. But the Ocarina works fine, at least the the original single piece of music.

    I dont know since I can't find it anywhere, but a client-side bug (?) that I have is that whenever I try to launch the game (Worked perfectly fine yesterday (27 December), but not today (28 December)) an error pops up (Image below) saying something about VariantException and then another error pops up saying that the application was terminated in an unusual way. This makes the game unplayable.

    As I said in the previous sentance, images of these errors will be uploaded.

    When playing on a server with others if you're aboard a moving ship and the owner disconnects you're able to remove items from the owners chest and upon them reconnecting leave their ship and receive a duplicate of the taken items.
