Some seeds from chests are fully grown instantly after placing

 

Client-side bugs: As of Angry Koala, attempting to play any music, Canon in D included (tested as a base case), causes the client to crash to desktop without warnings.

 

I believe I've found a bug, although maybe some will consider it a feature.

Created new Character. Glitch BaMF. Warped down to planet. This happened.

Except there was no torch and nothing was dug out, could not see glitch BaMF.

 

Client-side bugs/items/dupes and trades: Occasionally chests will contain items as soon as they're placed again, acting as if they were spawned by the world.

 

As of v. Angry Koala, "- You can no longer breath on moons or asteroid fields without the proper equipment" (Quoted from patch notes)
I don't know what is the proper equipment, but I do believe you tried to land on a moon or asteroid field without it.

 

I think it was fixed. I posted it just before the update came out. I haven't experienced it with Angry Koala, though I've only played on a moon with low gravity so it's more difficult to tell.

Universe and ship started new at Angry Koala, character from previous version.

* If two small nonaggro animals on this planet are one hit killed using the left click attack at the same time, one will die as normal but the other will flash indefinitely and become invulnerable. It will continue to move and act as usual, but cannot be interacted with.

* Interactive capsules do their animation, but do not cast beneficial buffs on the character. Negative effects such as poison, burn, and explosions still work properly.

* Avian chest (16 slot) when placed on my ship from my inventory generate loot. If the chest is picked up and placed again, it will generate loot again.

* Teleport to planet option exits while in warp.

* Lowering myself with a grappling hook occasionally causes fall damage. (Possibly intended.)

* On worlds with lava, friendly NPCs become sucicidal and dive into the lava. Similar results happen with poisonous liquids.

* Fishlike creatures spawn at the center of the planet in the magma, and burn to death.

 

i can confirm this bug, i could only recreate it with primitive chests (green icon border) placing them and opening gives random loot, EVERY time. i tested how far i could push it, i got enough random loot to have a diamond pick and 10k pixels, dozens of instruments and vanity clothings, 100's of bombs, dozens of stimpacks etc. all within about 15 mins of starting a new character(and locating a primitive chest- large and small work)

 

I'm just going to report a few I've noticed. All these are on mac running mountain lion

Battle music does not start
Death does not spawn me in ship (Not sure if this is a bug or intentional change)
Lead Guitar crashes game when starting a song
One Planet I spawned inside the ground under a florin hut
I am commonly getting knocked inside and through walls by enemies

 

Spawning in a pool of acid since the new update

 

I was exploring a desert/bone planet when I found a village or something filled with these houses. I think the world generation conflicted with them, because the roof and bones should probably not be in the house.

 

After the most recent update my character is still there however my fuel and everything on my ship is gone?

 

Done on purpose. Part of the update.

 

Durasteel is required to make the Jellyfish boss appear. The upgrade to get durasteel comes from the Jellyfish boss. Anyone else see the problem here?

 

Again, posting without searching:

I died as a Glitch, Threat 1 planet, pressed ESC as the "Rebuilding" sequence began, spawned directly on planet surface.

 

+1 confirm for found seeds making plants grow instantaneously but seeds given from plants grow normally except for the one you get back from initial planting which can be used to get infinite food.

 

I started a new male glitch.
Collected my starting items.
Teleported to planet.

Landed inside a small, deserted Apex facility with a Hi-Tech Chest.
Chest contained a copper pick, stone pick, some pineapple seeds, etc.
I collect the chest out of habit.

I decide rather than keep the chest, I'll leave it and the stone pick behind in the starting base.

Placed it down. I go to put the stone pick in there. There's items in it. I break the chest and place it again. New items.

I proceed to collect the chest, place it, and open it for new items ~50 times. I tested out some of the new legendaries that I found, then tried to play one of my new instruments I found (crashed to desktop).

Edit:

Had other friend try this out on the first chest they found (in a sewer). They would get more loot every time the chest was placed.

 

I found a clarinet and any song that I try to play, the game crashes to desktop.

 

Some of the instruments have been acting up, such as the Accordion. Whenever I try to use it,, my game closes without any warning or reports. Also, while I'm here, the servers have been having problems. I'm not sure if its the game or my friends computer, but the chunks loading and the freezing aliens is strange. You guys probably already knew of stuff like this happening, but anyways.

 

I can't open the game at all on Mac 10.8.5
It just crashes and quits when I press play on Steam, no window or anything.
