    Ordane Master Chief

I keep finding naked merchants who sell nothing. I found a whole Avian village full of them and a lone Glitch one.

  2. Esahc_

    Esahc_ Cosmic Narwhal

I did too at first, but after I was on my home planet for I while I got the sound glitch three times in a row without leaving the planet. :/

I would like to point out all upgrades after durasteel don't get consumed on use.

    Crypt_210 Big Damn Hero

they always did and i think always will.
i don't want them to change this the sewers are too easy without them in there.

EDIT: They were always 1 hit killers

  6. Hwo Thumb

    Hwo Thumb Scruffy Nerf-Herder

None of my merchants are selling anything and they all seem to be naked. Everyone else is clothed but my merchants are running without a scrap of clothing on

'Wide Rusty Storage Cabinet' (a storage cabinet found in prisons) is marked as 'storage', but is not actually openable as a storage item. It does not light up when one mouses over it, and hitting 'e' does not do anything to it.

  8. Shadowz2008

    Shadowz2008 Orbital Explorer

You can't Smelt items in a Glitch Furnace

  9. Severyx

    Severyx Void-Bound Voyager

NPCs, Enemies, and fights with them:

    - Sometimes projectiles (arrows, bullets, etc) don't register a hit on the enemy and simply disappear when they touch the enemy's sprite. This mainly seems to happen when the player or the enemy are mid-jump when firing/taking the hit
    - Dual-wielding weapons is completely pointless, as enemies only take one hit every second. Multiple pistol shots/sword/daggers cannot be used to their full potential. Monsters, however, can hit you several times in a second with certain attacks

That's not a bug. That's a suggestion, and Starbound literally has infinite content.

Unsure if this has been noted before but when fine sand, also gravel and books, fall onto objects like chests or things that can't have objects on top of them the block just disappears. Though this is only the case for gravel/fine sand underground if it is sliding diagonally into the canister of pixels. You can view this easily back having a stack of books in the MM and drop them over top of a chest with no place on the sides for them to fall, the best is the side of a table with a chest on the side and the books fall and cease to exist. Thanks for your time, just wanted to get this out there.

I think this is the best place to post this.

I've noticed about 2 days ago that Starbound has a high CPU usage.

    - Under DirectX, the game goes as high as 36% when looking at Task Manager with a low of 25%.
    - Under OpenGL, the game maxes at 27% with a low of 22%.
    - Pegs only one core out of four total.

In comparison, a full 3D game is around 25% to 35% on my computer. This is primarily a 2D sprite-based game, however.

    My system specs:
    • Intel Core i5 2400
    • 16GB DDR3 1600MHz RAM
    • Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit
    • AMD Radeon HD 6950 1GB
    Is this normal?

You should see what Minecraft does to CPU usage, and that has some of the lowest-end graphical complexity in the 3D gaming realm.
You have to understand that the visuals are processed by the GPU, not the CPU by itself. Starbound has a lot of stuff going on in the background, though, what with content generation and all the calculations.

Also remember that they said the engine won't be properly optimized until at LEAST Beta stage 2.

moving the game window during a loading screen causes the game to crash

edit: the robot spiders that crawl on the walls in the sewers, if hit from underneath, will fly through the air until they hit a wall

in which case, this happens. [IMG]

This has only occurred to me once but for some reason I got phased back to my ship. When I went to leave my character disappeared (and I didn't phase back) so had to relog. When I went back down the whole planet was regenerated. Chests were restocked, ores were back, dungeon mobs were respawned and I still had the objects from when I cleared it out earlier.
