    Sort of amusing bug. If you dig an underground hole straight down far enough that the "roof" is off your screen, and it's raining, it will rain inside that hole.

    Hey, I've made a miscellaneous bug report in the GENERAL BUG REPORTS thread, in the support section, I'd like to repost it here just in case (with due categorization) and also because I guess this thread has more chances of being noticed, keep up the good work. Also sorry if some have already been reported, among all these bugs and bug reports it's hard to search.

    Items:
    -Playing as a Floran with the peas head and sleeping in a tent results in part of the head sticking out from behind the tent's sprite
    -When asleep in a floran bed (in one of those rare little houses that spawn), if an npc walks by it will be party in front of the bed, partly behind the character's sleeping sprite
    -When a character attempts to sleep on an apex torture bed, it sleeps with its eyes open (not sure if intentional)
    -Some items (so far only an air vent and another one that I have forgot), when mined, display an X icon instead of their actual icon

    NPCs, Enemies and Fight:
    -Avian eyes are bugged: the avians talk with their eyes and sleep with their eyes open
    -Some npcs, so far only apex ones with sniper rifles, chase without shooting the character
    -If an npc has a long gun and is cornered, you can position yourself between its face and the end of its gun, effectively avoiding any kind of damage
    -Some monsters would sometimes stop chasing the character and give priority to playing the eating grass animation (hasn't happened lately, was there a fix?)
    -Some NPCs will be stuck and unresponsive while being constantly fired upon from distance (rare)
    -You can play in the background while the respawn animation is still playing (this can be dangerous if equipped with a legendary weapon that can break your furniture with a click)
    -You can die after your character has effectively completed the beaming back to ship animation if the monsters attack the spot in which you were before disappearing (since it's just an animation, and your character is effectively still in that point according to the game until you will be shown to be on the ship)

    Client-side:
    -When Shift+Tabbing to the Steam overlay, upon resuming the game will act as if the player is holding the shift key, until said key is pressed again

    Progress can be lost if multiple instances of the game are running.

    Repro:
    1. Open the Starbound Launcher.
    2. Launch Starbound.
    3. Create a character.
    3. Close Starbound.
    4. Launch two instances of Starbound.
    5. Begin play in Instance 1. Collect an item. Save and quit. Close Instance 1.
    6. Load the same character in the second instance of Starbound.
    7. Note the character's progress.
    8. Save and quit, close Starbound.
    9. Launch Starbound and select the character.

    Result:
    The character progress is lost.

    Expected:
    Only one instance of Starbound can be open at once, or the character is only loaded into memory upon being selected.

    After playing for some time now, I noticed some more things to add. I read most of the start of this thread and think these are new or not listed:
    1. After the game running for about 20 minutes idle, the character moves fine, but picking anything up was lagged and slow. The items would slowly fly to the character. Eventually it went back to normal speed for everything.
    2. Windowed mode cannot be set to full screen unless its maximized.
    3. Fish can live outside water until they are slain. (The water can be drained and fish can remain outside the water)
    4. Shift clicking on Armor or Clothes does not do anything, it should either dress the character or remove them from the character.
    5. Enhancement not a bug - Maybe have the matter manipulator allow objects to be moved with right click. This would be useful for moving chests or other objects that hold items instead of having to break them, move them, then replace all items within.
    6. Some merchants are blank (see attachment)
    7. Saving and quiting underground allows easy travel to your ship, since next time you login you will be on your ship.

    Alright, I'm not wading through the entire thread to see if this was posted and not added to the initial post, but I had a bug with a merchant Floran on my ship.

    I had a villager and merchant on my ship for a couple days now, and haven't had any issues with attacks on them accidentally or anything to that effect. I came back to my ship yesterday and noticed the merchant partly in the floor of my ship, stuck, until she started jumping like a crazy person and freed herself. I came back later in my play session and she was nowhere to be found, I can only assume she finally fell through the floor completely and disappeared into the cold void of space.

    I've found a bug/glitch with the way lave and water behave. It should create magmarock but so far this is very buggy. (One liquid depleting as you mine but the other remaining almost unchanged and vice versa or water sitting comfortably adjacent lava.)

    Server:
    - Server pulls password data from client-side Starbound.config instead of \assets\Server.config, which is misleading (there's very little server-related config in server.config).
    - Sometimes the Starbound.config file can reset silently, wiping out passwords unexpectedly. (Cannot currently reproduce. Possibly a Steam sync problem?)

    Client-Side:
    - Using an instrument to play certain ABC files crashes the client to desktop with no error messages. Attempted to play with Dulcimer and Electric Bass Guitar, same result. (example file here)

    its come to my attention that late tier beds are useless for regaining health unless you are prepared to sit there for 10 mins at a time.
    i think maby a tweak with the beds to regain a percentage over time instead.

    I am guessing that this has already been reported but, I cannot scan anything into by 3D printer, I put the applicable item in the scan slot press scan some pixels are taken away and the item doesn't show up. Also there are times when I try to beam off the ship and it sends be to my teleport pad instead of the planet

    Just a bit of weirdness, more of an oversight than a bug more likely. Came across an Apex village that had spawned smack in the middle of a Toxic Forest, all the Toxic top plants and toxic chests spawned inside the village, even inside buildings. Just looks kinda weird is all.

    if you move forward and backward all the time you can still make damage with melee weapons through at least 1-block walls ...probably a known one....

    Here's a rather annoying bug I've noticed just now:

    Items dropped on floor due to picking up a chest and its contents overflowing one's inventory may disappear when one walks off screen.
    I found this out the hard way. I was rearranging my home, and picked up a chest-- however, my inventory was nearly full, so some of the items that had been in the chest overflowed out of my inventory and fell on the floor.
    I moved the chest to its new location, and went back to collect the items that had fallen........ and they were gone. :(

    What I lost? Gold bars, diamonds, silver bars, a platinum bar. Fun times. ;)

    i have been playing the game for an hour now and suddenly i can see my block when i mine them, like the dirt and coble stone blocks dont appear in my inventory or anywhere but it tells me at the bottom that i'm collecting them, it was strange because it was working but then stopped CAN SOMEONE PLZ TELL ME WHAT IS GOING WRONG !!! thnxs
