Closed Starbound BETA: Bugs Database LU 8.29.14 (Not for nightly)

I had an error, I was playing in a server, I was down in a cave and i clicked save and quit and then I had an error message, i accidentaly closed it sorry I didnt have time to take a screenshot, but basically what happened was that the game didn't save at all. None of my other friends had the same issue playing in the server. When i got back into the game i had lost all the stuff i had been gathering. So the game didnt even save. I tried to do it again in a cave and then in the surface and it actually saved.

I got it again and am attaching a screenshot with the message i got.

 

In the Avian temple enemies drop tier 2 weapons in an Alpha planet. Doesn't seem to be an isolated case in the prison dungeon.

 

The game was already like this pre-first-reset

EDIT: even more so now in my opinion.

 

Not entirely bug, more of a sort of exploit, attacking blocks with a rare weapon that has an explosive effect will destroy sand/dirt in 2-3 hits pending on materials, but it ignores whatever minerals are contained inside and will destroy them pretty easily despite anything like titanium of diamond stored inside.

 

got a tier2broadsword and tier2spear on my first planet (alpha) by killiing the villager_fighters. 127dps and 120dps.

 

I have encountered multiple worlds that have repeating apex laboratories
Each place has the exact same amount of enemies and are very close to each other.


Edit: After looking around this planet, I found 17 labs within 10 seconds of each other with no variance of enemies at all.

I did no check the items in the containers but I suspect that it may be different each time, but I'm not sure.

Me too. I found one at Alpha Pollux 6747 I. There were at least half a dozen of them.

 

Mechanical spiders occasionally walk sideways:

 

Item: The Scientist cosmetic set pants are called Scientist Coat same as the chest piece is.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but when you spawn and have over 100 max hp, you still spawn with 100 hp and 100 energy.

Many merchants are bugged and don't sell anything. It seems to only be the cloth merchants and melee weapon merchants.

 

Light blue moonstone has the wrong icon associated with it (see screenshot).

 

there is a bug were if you mouse over the bubble gun it CRASHES the game.

 

Patch: Indignant Koala

Every Huge/Miniboss monsters seems get stuck on that terrain.

 

I just wanted to quit the game ?

 

- You can shoot bubble from water sword through doors (blocks probably too i guess)
- Birds using the iceblast attack almost never get in range to hurt you

Game crashes on this planet

If you head left for about 2 min your game will crash as the ground starts to turn from yellow dirt to purple dirt. Very easy to recreate the bug as it happens every time you get to that area of the planet

 

I also got this each time I quit the game today.
Glad it wasn't just me...
