I think developer could add stuff like ipads(istars or something like that). You could use them to see the hour, gravity and temperaure of the planet you are in, to write annotation,to save coordinates of world you like it,add teleports points or portals, to create maps,to register animals(like a pokedex)... If you had automatic crows or livestock you could see their stats when you were away. Devs could add ship' IA in the iStar, music, apps, and so on. What do you think?
