1. When making a thread, please tag your thread accordingly using the menu to the left of the textfield where you name your thread where applicable. Server Advertisements and Mod Releases should be contained to their respective subforums.

Starbound 1 way server

    Hey guys,

    So We're trying to play Starbound via lan with my computer running the server however, my friends computer cannot connect via join game and entering my IP. When we switch around and he hosts the server, I can connect to him no problems whatsoever. I have disabled my firewall and still have had no luck.

    I seem to have this exact problem with minecraft. He can create and I can join via lan yet, this will not work vice versa.

    I am running windows 8 and he OSX.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
