Thanks ! This update is awesome, and mechs are a lot of fun ^^ The new blocks are great too, and building with them is both fun and good looking The space stations aren't that interesting to me, however. Is there any chance we may get a "gravity maker" to make asteroid bases and such usable again ? I'm kinda sad to be unable to build stuff as awesome as the dungeons I visit :v
Thank You, Chucklefish, for all of your hard work! The last week must have been hectic for you with all of the work you had to do, bug squishing and polishing, etc., but it is all well worth it! I wish for you that this new addition brings swarms of new players, which this game truely deserves! I wish you, also, a very pleasant Summer and a well-earned rest!
In case you're willing to use mods, there's the environmental safety mod, which lets you add gravity to an enclosed area as one of its options: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=782262701
I thought that placing background added gravity, in space, although there's the issue that when you remove it the gravity is still there.. at least that's what I remember.
Do they honk with every step? Assault you with bad puns? Kill you with balloon animals? EDIT: Also, wow. No clown mech, either.
ok it's working now but the mech quest broke it says unotharized user even though i did the first quest
Is anyone else having a ridiculous amount of trouble with the space mech combat? I can barely even do anything in gentle star systems with the starter mech because of how difficult it is for me.
Same here. On a side note, I've heard that bookmarks aren't alphabetical anymore? Does anyone know whether this is true and, if so, if it can be fixed?
This is thefirst update since I started playing, so forgive what it probably a common question, but when can I expect this will appear on GOG? Can I assume you've already sent it off and we're just waiting for GOG team to get to it?
This is one hecking good update. Only thing I find lacking is, there doesn't seem to be any way to navigate zero gravity without a mech. Would be neat if there were a personal thruster pack or something.
You can navigate 0g using spears with the rocket spear special, which are found as randomly generated weapons on planets. This weapon special pushes you away from the direction you fire it in, and it lets you go really damn fast in 0g. There's also the Drill Spear, which is a legendary weapon found in space, and which has a special that pulls you in the direction you fire it in.
The mechs seem a pretty overpowered on planets... what is there to balance them out? You can take on armies with those things.
