Hi, new to modding and looking for some input for an idea. I would like to create a mod that has the following features- -A fleet of star ships/war ships (Star craft fighter carriers, dreadnoughts, battleships, cruisers, etc... -Teleporters to other ships in the fleet (perhaps a small starter scout ship that takes you to a bigger "hub" ship, and to all other ships from there... -Doorways that take you other sections & rooms aboard the "main" ship IE; captains/crew quarters, cargo holds, bathrooms, galley, etc... (adding a kind of '3rd dimension' effect) -The ability further customize the ships of the fleet as the player desires. -Perhaps the ability to choose a different ship of the fleet as a home ship. I'll be looking into other mods to see how the code works & playing around with the codes for various things. Also will be contacting various mod authors and getting there permission, advice, and will fully credit them. Planetside Teleporters, Fully Customizable Ship, and the basic unpacked starbound files seem like a good place to start. Let me know if there are any other mods that may be useful for this endeavor. So far, I've made a star fighter (just an in-game picture/wall painting) for decoration aboard a star craft carrier, and currently working on some 'pictures' of the outside of ships (like weapons, sensor arrays, etc...) Like I said, still new to modding. Let me know if this sounds like a cool idea.
