Welp, there's a reason I never was an art major. Ahem. So, my idea stands that this is a nocturnal animal. It is slow moving but deals medium-to-heavy damage when the player gets within range. It has the ability to "ensnare" or "hypnotize" the player if they get to close, effectively cutting the players defense. It is advisable that you fight this enemy with ranged weapons or traps. It cannot jump -- doesn't need to. It can climb any surface, upside down, ect. It has a higher than average defense system, meaning it is a harder enemy to defeat -- one that may spawn less often. It ability to hypnotize comes from the glowing orb, or angler that is attached to its back horn. (Perhaps "shadow" items could be implemented in the game to give the player the ability to ignore the hypnotizing effect?) It has a wide crown that protects its neck and a tough outer shell to protect its inner workings. Its main weapon is the "rhino" horn situated on the front of its face. Thanks for reading!
Cool design. I did a quick interpretation, hope you don't mind. He's hypnotised by his own angler-orb! Great to see you're thinking of it's function in the context of the game, and it's own survival if it were an actual creature. Nice work.
