Ah, thanks. Sorry, new to this forum.

 

What is confusing about it? They warn you about it in the launcher each time you turn it on. Clearly until a major change requiring an update to the launcher is brought up, you should believe the red text.

 

It's only funny because people would rather laugh than cry...

 

Sorry but I don't understand what could be more confusing than a "warning" about a stable and an unstable beta. So what does that mean? Playing the stable beta version means playing an unstable beta and the already unstable unstable beta version is even more unstable than the unstable stable beta version? WHAT?

 

What does that have to do with CF inability to post changelogs on Steam like any other devs making use of the Early Access privilege?

 

Gonna agree, kinda slack. I'm nor a fanboy or a hater, I just have this amazing ability to be reasonable. I also have no idea how Chucklefish works things, but eh, their game, and I think not being able to see everything they do is neat in it's way. Adds an air of mystery.

However, if the majority want expressive changelogs then by all means, you should listen CF, we're collectively the ones who seeded you to where you are now. Not that I'm entitled, but as a small time game developer myself, it's a good idea to listen out for key suggestions.

Anyway, me off. Gonna go play dumb games for girls. (I'm not talking about Starbound, lol)

 

The unestable version is a bad excuse to make all the fanboys say "yeahh awesome all" "good work" and hound all the people we want the work done but
But remember this really is a Alpha not a Beta as they would have us believe

CF Are busy with passports, government, suitcases, really take so that instead of going to England going to Mordor.
This may be the longest moving history.

I think it's a good idea that they are moving to one place, makes business way easier to conduct, speaking as a guy who works in a small company that's spread all over the world, I will state that while I'd love this step to happen, I'm NOT looking forward to it.

I still don't see your personal experience about moving across countries yet. Produce it or stop talking like you know anything about the paperwork and the bureaucratic nightmare that preludes a move this big.

What was once simple opinions is starting to turn into more blatant name calling and finger pointing.

Yes im being immature with a fanboy(only for my entertaiment),but i dont need to explain how to make a trip to live in another country in less 2 months and get time to update a post in official forum and in steam. Is logical dont get time to do it but,nobody in the CF team can? all the week all the 5 minuts in the week to make a post are busy? i dont belive that

 

It's not a simple trip. It's IMMIGRATION TO WORK THERE. there's a big difference. But chub is right. I am wasting my time talking to a wall like you

to take papers to "IMIGRATION TO WORK THERE"
When you submit your application, a visa may take 4 or 6 weeks to be delivered, but of course, the CF team waited for the last minute to do things, and now comes the rush them.
They already had spoken earlier and apart i Tiy exact posts where we talk about it and say they are done to fix them.

In steam game library select starbound right click properties go to betas tab
and select the estable or unestable branch
the 2 are the same version now
