Who's excited for the newest stable build?!

 

I don't Twitter (Tweet?) so thank you for posting this. I knew it would be this week, but this is great news.

 

Pick the armor, load the gun - there are new stuff to loot for fun.

Did anyone's Unstable build update today? I was just running my server last night, so I'm sure I'm up to date, but there's no patch notes, not that I think they would bother making any since they're going to update Stable tonight anyway, which leaves me to believe this was yet another one of Steam's false updates.

The reason I ask is because I've never transferred files from Unstable to Stable, (assuming that's possible to begin with...pretty sure.) The last Unstable build I played, I took a break from the game until this last Unstable build. I know it sounds contrary to the name, but would the Stable version tonight be more updated than the Unstable one we have now? It's not like Unstable has ever crashed on me....yet. Just framerate drops during heavy gun battles, which is just optimization I assume from build to build.

 

Ahhhhhhhhh!! I've been preparing for this!! At least I got most of the stuff I've collected onto Jacaranda's ship since I planned on doing a total universe wipe before starting a new character and I wanted to keep Jacaranda's stuff mostly intact. Might just delete everything that's left anyways...

I saw that but I thought you had to have a Twitter account to get the info. I barely text either, since I must use college English and don't text abbreviate. Don't blame me, I'm old (that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it)

 

Was hoping they would add a little more to the colonization system before pushing it to stable. Some of that "progression" they said would come for it and what not.

It was a very small update that changed/added some mech sound files, assuming it was the same thing pushed to the nightly build around the same time.

 

Yeah, I'm hoping Stable will address something I just found out; for some reason my tenants are cloning themselves. (Only one will pay me.) Of course, I wonder if it's because my friend is using the tenant deeds and is glitching things up. The next day it got worst, I started getting cooks as well, and I have nothing cooking related around the apartment I made either. I have 4 deeds with about 12 people running around.

 

I have that stuff blocked with the "Disconnect" chrome extension.

 

I had this happen once after I spent like 30 minutes constantly cycling a merchant tenant and going through the shops. After I ran out of money I left whichever one I landed on, and when I left and came back there was a second merchant living there and the fist one no longer paid rent. I came back later that second merchant was gone and a new non-merchant was living there, when the room was set up to be for merchants. I have like 10 other tenants elsewhere and none of them have multiplied like that, so I assumed I broke/overloaded the system with my "abuse" of it.

Not sure how i want to approach this. on a new lintton? Or with the lintton i'm using now? Should i spend one more day collecting weapons before i roll the dice?

 

Awesome . I played unstable for the last 2 weeks but didn't want to spend time on building stuff until stable release. Time for a new universe, tonight's the night!

Are you sure it's going to drop tonight? The UK goes by Greenwich Time, which means it's almost 1:00 a.m. there as of this post. Wouldn't they most likely be sleeping or something by now?
