Okay, so the very first thing I did was dick around with armor dyes... annnnnnnnd you might wanna re-check some of them values. Some armors go the entirely wrong colors when you apply dye, and some don't change color at all but still eat up a dye bottle.
They're from Midnight planets where it's dark all the time. As far as I can figure, they don't do anything (or say anything), just stand around (much like the entire planet). I have high hopes for Midnight planets though.
I'm excited to play the update, I just hope that the new AI rumors about laggin around enemies isn't true. One thing I did like about Starbound is that enemies weren't touch sensitive, as in they had strategies and didn't inflict damage by just touching you... I'm a lil pissed that you guys removed that AI from hostile mobs- that was one of those things that really made the game.
my energy takes twice as long to recharge and runs out way faster just from movement techs, and that's with a full ferozium suit... it might be just optimization issues, but i think they upped the tech's energy cost
Yeah, I don't really like the new touch damage. Having the animations show when something was coming at you was a fun mechanic. Also, are player descriptions gonna be added back anytime soon? They were huge on multiplayer servers back before pleased giraffe. Edit: Also, I think I run a lot slower now in game. Is this normal?
No. They lowered amount of it given by armor, but tech cost stayed the same. Still pretty much same negative effect on gameplay though.
Another good one. Can't wait to see the spears, if I ever find one. colony quests are probably the most thing I see I will quite like. The rest is a bonus.

I have a problem, ESET Smart Security gave me an alert (probably a false positive) 211820\win32\dump_versioned_json.exe Kryptik.CKF Trojan I think it's connected to this update. Did anyone else get a false positive?
