Certain weapons found in specific/random dungeons (rarely if random dungeon, but more common if its in the cargo of a ship) deal another damage but normal (or can be combined, never reaching three in a single weapon).
    1.
Examples: digital damage, force damage, ghost damage, divine damage, molecular damage, cursing damage.
All these weapons have different types of attacks and/or debuffs depending on what type of damage they are focused on, (as they can be very rare and hard to get).Examples of type of attack:
-A ghost damage gun could pierce enemies/walls but losses power when goes through something.
    - A divine damage gun could leave marks in the walls and floor if the shoot misses and cast a small ray of ligth that deals low damage but only works outside of caves and buildings.
-A molecular damage melee weapon could reduce is target maximum and minimum defense for a period of time.
-A digital damage melee weapon could reduce its target maximum and minimum damage for a period of time.
    2.
Of course there will be equipment to counter these damages because some enemies of high tiers are powered of them.
The power of the effects and types of attack depend of their tier.
    Examples:
    -Molecular deformation (melee):
lowest tier: defense lowered by 3-6 for 1 minute.
highest tier: 20-40 for 2 minutes.
-Massive knock-back (melee or gun if cannon):
lowest tier: 2 blocks 3% chance to slow target at hit.
highest tier: 8 blocks 6.5% chance to slow target at hit.
    -Possesion (gun):
lowest tier: unable to move at will for 1 second, 1% chance to kill target on hit (no effect on bosses).
highest tier: unable to move at will for 4 seconds, 2% chance to kill target on hit (no effect on bosses).
    -spirit smog (melee):
lowest tier: after every 5 swings you leave a small violet cloud that lowers speed and poisons for 2 seconds.
highest tier: after every 4 swings you leave a medium violet cloud that lowers speed and poisons for 10 seconds.

Sorry if messed up too much first thread .
    *edit*
To make these not be op in pvp (because you would have tons of trouble switching to another defense and waste very precious time) the planet when its generated will choose randomly 2/3 types of these dmgs and will be locked so nobody uses the six. Oh yeah the "ghost" bullets will lose 75% of their original damage after going through a wall and if its not enough then it will simply bounce once or twice
Also due to be not respecting the sci-fi theme of the game, the name of the dmgs have been changed:
    -ghost is now exterminator
-divine is now smart (like smart bombs)
    -cursing is now nano-bot
If you think there is a better name for any of the changed dmg names suggest them at the comments please.

Interesting idea, and probably already somewhat implemented in the game, though limited to 'explosion' and normal. I haven't checked for duplicity, but it seems decent. It could be overpowered though, for someone to get a ghost machine gun, and spam crazily, or otherwise, they should consume more overall energy. They are implementing some different types like cold, fire or poison, so it could be nice to have other types.
Finally, why 'especific', it's not a word. Do you mean specific?

I'm not sure about "ghost" and "divine" damage, consider the complete absence of magic and the paranormal from the game.

I also edited the thread title to make a little bit more sense.

yeah by especific i meant specific sorry for my horrible english :(

ok then divine and ghost are out of the list but how comes that curse isn't a type of magic?

Oh, missed that one. That would probably count as magic.

My advice is to try and put a sci-fi spin on it. "Spirit smog", for example, could become "neurotoxin".

like nanobot control instead of "possesion"?
or maybe make the "neurotoxin" come from a mechanical sword with a motor?
"laser drone beacons" could replace divine guns marks but these deal even lower dmg than what the ligth was supposed to do:megusta:

dunno if i should still suggest different names because 6 is already too much to handle.
Maybe to make it less op only 2/3 types of dmg can be used in a planet and the others are locked.
