Spawner Guard is it infinite?

so i am about to make spawner guard..i was wondering lets say guard is sumoned and if he dies..will he respawn again? or not? becuz my doctor spawner once he died..my spawner disapeared..and other questions what does spawner guard do is it some kinda companion who will folow u?

 

The spawner is consumed once the whatever it is spawns. Once they die, they die. Pretty sure the guard is just a strong fighter that'll protect the area its placed at, but I haven't used mine yet since I haven't built a home

 

ok thnx but WTF just hapened...MY world RESETED...?????????? i was playing multiplayer with friend yesterday everything was fine...world saved we played today and everything was fine..than i did go single player try..and got error...and it closed my game and server..than i started server and did go in..boom world reset..everything reseted...my home/ stuff gone...what hapened?????? anyone else got this BUG?

 

I'd say Beta happened. Although the Starbound Beta is the most stable unfinished version of a game I've ever played, stuff like that can happen all the time I guess. I for example take a screenshot of my builds every time I close the game, because I don't expect it to be there the next time I fire it up. Sad, I know but I hope it's coming back for you guys.

Don't know if that was the proper response for his correction... The Devs have stated many times that stuff like this will happen in the first stage of the Beta. I'd really like to not have to quote it again, but seriously, loosing items, characters, worlds, universes, etc. is all expected in the first stage of this early Beta.

I agree, it is frustrating, but that's just how people can be. But resorting to foul language and attitude only aggravates the problem, and doesn't alleviate it. If you hate when people act the way they do, like trolling and criticizing your grammar errors, respond to them with kindness. Let them know that you appreciate their corrections and will keep their opinion in mind.

Now, I'm not a forum admin or anything , (I'm pretty sure @Jonesy would agree with this) but if we want to make the forums a better place, attitude and frustration makes the situation worse, and in doing so turns the community into a haven for trolls and the like, and will loose the strong community that we have.

That's the last thing I want to see happen to this awesome community we've together created around this game.

p.s wow i am shocked about something...i was just reading forum...when i noticed this...does the universe is same for all of us peoples? i mean is this world connected with all peoples who play multiplayer? to be more precise..lets say i make server and join my game through multiplayer...and some other random guy do it same...i can invite him and join hes party and go to hes planet?
