The idea is that you can make a space station that you keep your stuff on like a personal planet but with a fresh start. This will be useful for storage and building your own high tech lab. Sometimes it should get meteor showered and parts can get destroyed which will lead to loss of air and the temperature to go down.
spoke the idea already from around 2012-2013. we started talk about abandon space station and just kill and kill to complete the mission, then chose to fix and fix space stations and this would be your home base most likely against invaders. I think they change it up a bit that it can be craft-able for your station, but requires lots and lots metals, glass, wires and few other things, but prefer just fix up the station instead.
t thanks for the reply, Taking over an already built one and then repairing it is a great idea that would not only add to the creative aspect it would add another adventure to the thrill seekers.
