Outdated Spacebound 2.1

Yeah - you are using the unstable beta - beta beta - I can see why one wouldn't want to read all my dribble drabble - I get it - but there are usually some cool things I talk about. Like wanting to know what you guys think about the mod. Suggestions you could give me. Cool features I might add - oh and in this case - a link to a working version for the beta beta - which is what your looking for - and it is right above your post.

Hahaha naah I won't poke fun at you, thanks for reply. Also yeah I'm not great at that reading thing when I get frustrated. Starbound just isn't cooperating tonight at all.

I really do enjoy the mod and if I think of anything that would be awesome added in I will definitely let you know!

alas - I have almost everything done and tested
I just need to do all the file stuff now - get all the parts ready - .pak everything again and then get it all uploaded -
and then post changes etc.

thanks for the info, and I would agree so far - seems that everything is working as it should. I think I might post another update some point today - I finished a couple tweaks I didn't get done and cleaned up a few more nebulae - and finished adding/fixing VitsotU patch. And I guess I'll check out how it runs in a .pak and see if it is worth .paking everything again.

I got rid of it, it seemed like nobody really was using it - maybe I will just turn it into a quick link patch - I only need to change one file really
I will fool around with the settings and then make a patch for that - will be tmrw though - getting sleepy

This is for extreme Nebulae - two links, one for whole mod and one for if your just using parts. More Nebulae with more movement - may kill FPS!

(just unzip and let copy over - its just one file)

 

You would use either the whole mod or a mixture of the three seperate ones. You would not use the whole mod and any of the seperate parts. The extreme patch is for sky. Config which is only in the seperate nebulae mod and the whole mod. You would use one patch only for either the neb mod or whole.

If that makes sense.

Maybe I didn't get your question about two mods?

Normal server as in multiplayer?
I believe it works but I don't know how well or what needs to be done if anything?

Yo. I have slowly been working up to changing the mod page around. As I have been getting screenshots to use and stuff I've noticed some stuff to fix. I also figured now was a good time for a second pass on art. I got everything done except aurora. I loaded each nebula up one at a time which took a massive amount of time. The ones that needed changing I fixed, altered, and some I took out and replaced new ones. This I think will be the most complete and finalized version of nebulae yet I fixed a few clouds and altered how some are placed. I touched up each sun. I altered the nav comp nebulae stuff.

Don't think I will get to the aurora yet. So maybe fix clouds if I see any more and that's about it.

I might make or change some clouds, wanted to make floating island clouds for variety! Just have to get new screenshots for everything which takes time. And then figure what I'm gonna do with main page.

That's what I've been doing in my spare time which hasn't been a lot lately. Seems everything is running ok with 1.8 so that's good. See y'all later

 

Still plodding away. after I did my second pass on nebulae and then put them all back in - I did a second pass again - you know when you keep messing with something and maybe you messed to much.........maybe not the case though

right now just gotta go through and take pics for variety additions - and fix (already fixed some) or add some clouds - then that's about it.

I haven't received any help with making the main page better - so that's unfortunate, no tips or anything for anyone
just gotta blow an hour or two updating that - maybe tonight - in which case the update will be out also - soo close

 

pretty much done - I was trying to get some cool stuff in mountainous and floating islands for Variety -but It jut wasn't meant to be I guess -wasting time at this point.

Nebulae are looking super sweet at this point.
also enjoying how the new ftl looks - very chill

Gonna do the new .pak thing and see how it all works , then I just gotta work on page - so if you happen to read this and also happen to see the main page changing over an hour probably - you know what's happening.

Hope to have it all done and released tonight sometime - gotta go chill and then watch true detective first

The extreme version is on the link section at the bottom. It's just the sky.config file - copy it into mod folder. I'll see what I can do with anthr FTL
