Before anyone gets mad at me for not using the search bar. I did and i couldn't find it. Will you be able to build in space? Like make your very own space station? A reply would be much appreciated
It has not been confirmed whether or not we will be able to build in space. But, before you ask questions you should also check places like the List of Announced Game Information, the Official FAQ, and the Quicklinks Thread. If the information you are looking for can't be found in places like these, it probably hasn't been announced yet. Now to answer your second question. The game starts with the player escaping their planet in an escape pod as the planet is destroyed by some unknown force. The player eventually makes contact with an abandoned space station and uses it as their base of operations. So you're essentially given a space station. Hope this helped and welcome to the forums.
Well now, Tiy stated that he was thinking about abandoned spaceships and how making them their own world would not be difficult. If he implements this feature in the game, I'm sure you could build on to it and make a station of some sort. That is if there are no limitations around the ship as well. hmm
As was mentioned you find a space station. IIRC you can repair/upgrade the station and populate it with NPC's. Actual travel in space is a post release goal. I believe being able to build in space will likely be put in post game as well.
