Space dolphins

Another idea off the IRC chat. Liquid ocean planets could have space dolphins, space whales and other fish species specific to ocean world types

Bosses, ingredients, other elements of gameplay

 

The dolphins should fly around in space and sing about fish.

 

Dolphins flying spaceships, if a space based trade-combat system is ever introduced as well or asteroids filled with water with space whales inside

 

Space dolphins should be mounts and you should be able to do flips for trophies. They should use a similar physics model to Ecco the Dolphin, or Dolphin Olympics 2.

 

The idea behind echo the dolphin is a good one, be able to ride space or ocean dolphins like pets through ocean environments

idk, having space dolphins instead of space pirates or something like that would be pretty cool.
It'd be all like,
"WE'RE GOING TO TAKE OVER YOUR SHIP!"
"Awwwww, look at the cute little space dolphin" ouo

 

Oh yes, good old space dolphins. I love their singing. So Long and Thanks for all the Fish.
