I hear Monster is pretty good. Not sure if its really a mystery though.

 

Shiki is mystery/supernatural and is really good so far.

 

the closest anime of mystery that I have seen would be durarara, but I don't think it enters to the category of mystery itself

 

I've seen Shiki and Durarara, I haven't heard of Monster tho, I'll check that out, thanks for the suggestions.

 

Mystery... hmm... not really mystery but i could suggest Gosick.

 

Loved that anime, I'd class it as a mystery.

 

Higurashi series, probably some of the best mystery animes. Contains loads of gore though, but that's a good thing, right?

Detective Conan? Not sure if someone has said that yet, it's the only mystery anime I can really think of.
I guess Death Note would kinda be like that too.

 

Death Note is an awesome series. I haven't watched Detective Conan before, never really liked the look of it, but I could give it a try.

On another note, any good animes similar to Another, Higurashi, Umineko and Shiki? I've seen more than just those, but I can't recall the rest at this moment.

Alright, so I just finished off Clannad: After story and the extra Kyou episode.
That anime managed to chew up my emotions, mutilate them and play around with them. I loved it.

Time for Demon King Daimao.

Ohh, that used to be quite popular in China. The anime was all over the TV and the manga was spread everywhere.
