AFAIK There is one unique CG for winning baseball. I'm playing the EX version, if that makes any difference.
Oh ok, guess that would change it. I steered clear of the EX version because I could never destroy my mind with KEY H-scenes... Ugh... I don't even like cake...
Ha! I wasn't even aware EX had H-scenes when I downloaded it; it was just the first one I found. It's not much of a difference, really; the scenes only come up in the three new characters' routes, and [as of my version] none of those are translated anyways. I probably won't bother with them unless by the end I really want to 100% this thing. Which I probably won't seeing as the only thing keeping me motivated at this point is Kud's route...and Rin's true route, but I'm not sure I can put up with that much, considering I don't really like all the characters in some way. Rin has ponytail. Kud is adorable...eh.
Oh I adore Little Busters, one of the best VNs I've played. Then again I'd kill to play more Key VNs, they're like crack and ecstasy mixed together... I had to stomach the fact that Tomoyo After had tons of H-scenes... It was worth it for the story though. Anyways, I love all the characters so much... The only thing I need to play is Rewrite this summer. Maybe Clannad and Kanon, but I already know what happens in the story so it's not that great of an experience. I really really want to find an english version of Air without the H-scenes... that would be amazing.
Yes, most definitely give ReWrite a go; already mentioned that I loved it. Clannad is definitely worth playing through, because it feels quite a bit different from the anime, if that makes any sense, and there's all sorts of extras. Ryou/Kyou's route is excellent. Tomoyo's was pretty enjoyable, too, even though she's not a particularly likable character to me. I only downloaded Kanon once, and the file was corrupted. I didn't care enough to re-download, so I kind of just dropped it. I might try it again eventually, because I liked several characters in the anime, even though the whole thing didn't touch me (I had just finished Clannad for the first time before watching it, so my bar was set extremely high for KEY at the time). Air...I need to watch it again. I think I went through the whole thing in one go while on a summer vacation slump. I probably slept through most of it or something, because the latter episodes of the series escape me. Also, have you heard something about Angel Beats getting a VN? I might've dreamed it or something, but I thought I read somewhere that it was in the works.
A timeless classic. I would interject too that its a CRIME that they never made anymore episodes in the animated series... Reading the manga, THERE'S JUST SO MUCH MOAR!!!
Yeah that's one of the reasons I wanted to play it, shame animes can only cover on route... I always fall for the underdogs... Thank god they made an extra VN for Tomoyo, if you haven't played it yet you really need too... it's amazing. Yeah my download was messed up too and I haven't retried it yet. Now that you mention it though... if there's a whole extra route for Makoto... I really want to play it now... I loved the anime. Air, Clannad, and Kanon are my favorite animes. I can't wait to watch little busters... though it really sucks they couldn't get Kyoani to do it like all the other Key animes. I don't even need to set a bar for Key though, they always surprise me with their work. I watched all of Air during summer too like 5 or 4 years ago. It was the best summer of my life too... probably why Air is my all time favorite anime. I was thinking of buying the PSP version, but I decided to hold off since I probably wouldn't understand some of the more complex bits. I looked around online and apparently they have a vn for it in development... I think... This picture may or may not be related to it. God I would kill to get that vn though when they finish it.
just finished "tales of the abyss" (the anime) now I will have to continue with "chunbyo, love and other dilusions" or "cowboy bebop"
I watched the anime first, Manga second, and I feel the lack of the Skull Knight was a serious mistake. I do hope Griffith suffers for what he did, though.
Bump. Hello everyone. I recently started getting in anime after recommendations by a friend. Already watched Angel Beats, Accel World, SAO, Fate/Zero and Black Rock Shooter. Planning to watch Guilty Crown, Clannad and Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon in order. Do you guys think you can recommend some animes similar to those that I've seen? A good mixture of action, comedy and, uh, romance. Thanks in advance.
Kanon for similar romance and make you cry factor. Hm, Isekai no Sekishi Monogatari should do the trick. Check out Mirai Nikki. Lot of romance, but its significantly darker and technically they're all playing a big game. The two are barely comparable but Mirai Nikki is fcking amazing so check it out anyway. Fate/Stay Night. (Not as good but still alright nonetheless) Ah I hate anime of this genre, but anyway heres one you might like, Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica. If you're ready to watch some REAL MANLY anime, check out Ichiban Ushirou no Daimou After Guilty Crown (or preferably before), watch Code Geass.
Mate, I love you. I'll make sure to watch Code Geass before Guilty Crown. and I'll probably download most of the animes you mentioned. Thanks a lot. And damn, Ichiban Ushirou no Daimou looks good.
I got somewhere with Little Busters, thank god. Proceeded on through my third route -- Haruka's -- and played some things differently this time. Namely, I recruited Kengo for the baseball team and bothered to figure out the battle system. So I've beaten both of those things now, and I can skip them guilt-free on the next playthroughs. The baseball victory did have one unique CG, I'm pretty sure. Went on with ReWrite and made it through the common route and into what I'm pretty sure is Kotori's. I hope Key didn't do their usual thing of locking routes this time.
