Yep the DPS on weapons seem to be WAY too much. One shotted ufo boss with lvl 5 spear. Armor seems about right though

 

GODDAMN CASUALS RUINED THE GAME

...But seriously, that's quite an oversight.

 

I think the main reason they went this route was to have a system in place that they could more easily balance things in the future. They really only need to focus on one stat at a time now rather than changing one and altering many as it was before.

Maybe they use scientific notation for DPS.

 

I am heading to check out the guns in beta now... though game just crashed. Is it just me or is the game alot more shaky atm?

Have you updated already? I just did the update and part of it was a char wipe

 

No kidding, didn't they check the things they changed at all? Did they just change the code and thought: ''Hey this sure will work out and have no problems at all''

Just found grappling hook and drills. they are unlocked after beating dragon!!!

BTW... i only saw the item "perfectly generic item" once before... any one knows where to get? its for the grappling hook

 

I see them being dropped from bosses more often than not.

 

God damnit I was hoping i'd have to stop one hitting things after this patch xD, god damn 5000 damage on enemies that only have 30 health, they really need to put that 5000 down like 10-15 or something.

 

Perfectly Generic Item is when an ingredient in a crafting recipe isn't spelled correctly. It's basically a placeholder so the game doesn't crash out on trying to read the recipe.
