Some weird stuff I've found

Ok, so I have found a lot of weird stuff that none of the wikis mention, so I thought I could list them here and see if people know what I am talking about:

1. Usually on Airid planets, I find these small stone structures with an altar-like thing in the middle, which has a skull on it. When I interact with it, it gives me a status, similar to the rotating silver pods throughout the universe. These structures are inhabited with humanoids that wear black and purple clothes. As soon as they see me, they attack while saying "Kill the heathens!!"

2. On some X-sector planets, there are red demons that live in what seems to be a destroyed Glitch village. They say very ominous things, quite frightening in my opinion.

3. On one planet in the Alpha sector, there are weird Apex/Agraran/Glitch hybrids in the Bone biome. They have Glitch furniture inside of their houses, but they look like Apex, and when you kill them, they drop Agaran hats.

4. Speaking of Agarans, they are VERY weird. I've sometimes seen that they imprison Florans over lava, which is pretty odd.


5. On occasions, I've come across these rainbow-like villagers. They also have Glitch furniture, and they seem to grow these weird rainbow melons..


Anybody know what this stuff is?

Maybe he threw a capture pod at it? Would that be new school?

1) Those are cultists, and the obelisk-things with a skull fully heal you. They're not new, but the "heal you" part was broken in Angry Koala.

2) I believe those are not new, they have a small chance to drop the red and black Demon Wings back item that some people wear. Or, they ARE those people, and they're trying to fit in with the forum community.

3) I suspect this would be new! Yay! I haven't seen anything in flesh/blood/bone biomes except random monsters and emptiness. But you can't really see emptiness, so I guess I haven't seen that either.

4) Yes, they are weird. But, my Floran says that they are very stabbable and taste good on pizza. Or spears. She really prefers them on spears.

5) The rainbow things are weird. I think they're new, but I can't remember. You should check the new patch discoveries thread. Technically, you should have posted there instead of making a new post but don't worry about it.

 

The Agarans kidnap Florans and make them wear the aforementioned Agaran hats they find when you kill them. They do that to make more of themselves (Agarans).

Those rainbow villagers are theorized to be some sort of Apex society or something, I can't remember what the thread said.

 

Mine was too for a while but eventually worked. Hope you get that figured out!

 

Does Print Screen then paste into Paint not work? Not trying to be snarky, that's just how I always take screenshots (well I paste into PS but not everyone has PS).

 

They're probably the result of some apex experiments, considering their lines :
"You... your face is familiar, somehow."
"Were we once alike, Ape?"
"Seeing you makes me feel an alarming nostalgia. Why?"
"I had... a family, once. They were like you."
"I fell asleep at my desk and when I awoke, I'd written the word 'miniknog' over and over.",

 

I still use the old standby Ultima Online Screenshot Utility (UOSU). It's old, but it still works.

 

That's pretty funny, it was the first thing that came to my mind. I was reading down his post enjoying myself, then scrolled down the page a little and BAM, in my face, an image that looked like it was taken with a camera pointed at a screen or T.V set. I thought, 'No way, not in 2014, I'll have to ask about that as now I've completely forgotten about the message posted and am more interested to see if the image was taken with a camera pointed at the screen and why', well... Now I know.

 

Ah yes those damned dirty mushroomy bastards. I love em.

Also does no one use prt sc anymore? I have a desktop to imgur uploader if anyone wants it.

 

You should try puush for screenshots if steam screenies are acting funny.

 

I've come across mushroom people once. They were pretty cute

 

Well for me it only works in windowed mode. So not all time works. But should like you said.

 

those bunny looking people are actually apex that were shaved as punishment for eating apples instead of bananas.

I actually haven't tried print screen, I think that would work better than an actual camera
