Some questions about Starbound

1.Are there any kind of vault doors like in the fallout universe ?
2. Is there a height limit ?
3.Is it possible to skip the main story ?

1: Don't know anything about fallout.
2: Height limit is pretty far. On the largest worlds, you can dig down a thousand blocks, and you'll reach a 1000 block tall asteroid belt about 1000 blocks up from the surface. The smallest worlds have 600 blocks downwards, 1000 blocks to get to the asteroid belt, and the belt is 300 blocks tall.
3: You can skip everything after the first mission to repair your ship, but you'll miss out on some of the special shops if you do that. However, you can use mods or admin commands to skip the story completely while still getting all the shops.

 

1. Sorta. Airlock doors I think would work.
2. I've never figured that out, so it must be fairly high.
3. Mods allow you to do so.
