Some pretty worlds I found this morning whilst testing Rain

This is looking very nice. I particularly like the trees in the second picture. The terrain seems quite smooth in all of them as well, although the backgrounds appear a little strange for some reason. Hats off to you guys.

 

maybe the rain was what made the pond.
im guessing if that's the case then it would be hard to make it evaporate later though... so water from rain doesn't stay everywhere for eternity.


also I looove the ice vines!! awesome idea!

The last screenshot tells me that the background in caves has multiple layers.

 

The trees look like they are made of metal or something in the second picture. A nice touch. Rain is looking good as well. I like the streaky look rather than odd individual raindrops. Though I hope that rain can get heavier than that.

 

I'm drooling. So much variety here.

 

This game is going to be every thing I ever wanted in a video game and more I can't applaud Tiy and Chucklefish enough.

Loving the aesthetics

 

Wow... it's really lookin amazing. The last pic is my fave.

It shows the use of a "normal" pick axe... Which gives me the impression we'll be beginning the game with just "basic" tools at first. I like this. >.<

 

sooo how close to done are you tiy like in a percent estimation? The wait for this game is killing me!!!!
and also id like to see some oceanic planets and some synthetic structures just to see how the building plays out
one bit of flaw i found in image 2 was the water was on top of the land bridge without and walls around that i found it a little funky

 

I noticed this as well!

and to be more specific about heavy rain, I'd like to see it heavy enough to at least slightly obscure your vision, and darken the game world, with rain in the foreground as well as the background. It would make for an interesting game challenge, and an environment shift for boss fights and certain unusual creatures to appear. Lightning monsters, or worms that emerge from the earth to escape sodden soil...

Those are some pretty smexy pictures there Tiy! You guys are making wonderful progress with the game and it's looking more and more impressive with each screenshot.
