Wow, what's the source of these?!

 

I'm loving the backgrounds of the first few images, the ice cliffs and snowy climates are gorgeous (and a personal favourite of mine.) The background of the last image looks like it is missing some detailing though? Maybe because of how deep they've dug out the castle, it doesn't look particularly inviting with that pure beige background.

The rest of the detail in the shots is amazing though.

Oh thank you so much for this, game devs. Nothing is more annoying then spending eons in a character creator then having a helmet cover all of your hard work 5 minutes later. This feature just saved me hours of frustration of trying to find an unobtrusive head accessory.

Also, I'm a bit disappointed that even the procedurally generated buildings in this game look better then the stuff I usually build in games like these. I demand that these structures look uglier so I can feel better about myself!

I actually like this- I'm terrible at designing decent looking structures, they'll serve as a guideline, and then I'll build a copy out of the most unsuited material I can find. Sand castles? Hmmmm.

 

I will put Bacon on the job for that right now! He should be able to coax them into generating uglier structures so that you feel better.
Bacon fixes everything.
