Some more weapon types.

    Right. So, right now we've got a pretty nice array of weapons: daggers, swords, greatswords, hammers and the like; pistols and snipers and shotguns.

    This is definitely a good thing! I like it a lot! But you know what would be even cooler? More weapons! Maybe a rapier type weapon, that could act a little like a spear, but have the ability to parry as well!

    Additionally, I thought a submachine gun would be pretty cool as well, like a go-between between rifles and machine pistols. I like the revolvers, by the way. Maybe more bullet types, as well, such as a bullet that explodes at a certain distance, or one that draws enemies in.

    A mace-type short weapon and a hatchet type weapon would be really cool, too.

    Along with more weapon types, a few of the existing weapon types should be divided into more categories, such as shotguns (It is perfectly possible for a shotgun to either take 2 seconds between shots, or shoot 4 times per second), sniper rifles (Same, but less noticeable)...
    I guess the SMG could be specialized in fire rate. The Uzi and Pulse Rifle would be comparable at that.

    Here's some ideas for special race weapons, they all would have tiers that relate to the metals in game, they use energy, and require core fragments to craft.

    Human - Power Gauntlet; 1-handed: A glove that can be worn on either hand and generates a massive fist, even though it requires close range, it's a very high damage weapon(plus you can duel wield a pair, if you'd like to feel like a brawler class character)
    Apex - Tech Whip; 1-handed: Low damage, but it has good reach, and reduces enemy defense.
    Avian - Gravity Jewels; 2-handed: a pair of jewels orbit the player, damaging enemies that touch them, as well as acting as a shield, the attack button temporarily increases their rotation speed.
    Floran - Hunter Boomerang; 1-handed: It does a lot of damage, but is slow, tricky to aim, and almost always consumes the entire energy meter.
    Glitch - Joust Ram; 2-handed: A weapon that charges up, then launches the player forward, a very risky weapon with a high payoff.
    Hylotl - Duelend Naginata; 2-handed: Rotates at high speed, and deflects projectiles, good for crowd control.
    Novakid - Clockwork Bomb; 1-handed: A glove that sends out a small rolling cog that moves forward until it hits an enemy or wall, then explodes, it can only damage enemies on land.
