It would be pretty awesome if we could put more use into the spinning wheel. I love to hoard vanity armors but i would also like if i could make my own and dye it the color i like! Way less hassle then trying to find a certain type of town to buy whatever is there. Another Idea would be for a way to design our own clothes in certain styles! like medieval (glitch) or something more wild (like florans) if we can design a sign, why not clothes?
Designing clothes takes a lot more work than a sign. Where you could make a simple sign in a couple minutes, clothes could take a couple days, since you would need to animate it completely.
Yes, thats true! but alot of people actually enjoy designing for themselves! especially of those people have played Animal crossing... its also fun to have something original.
I like this idea but in order to make it work would take alot of time for both the developers and the creators but it would be worth it for some people... I'm down for this though we may not get it for a WHILE.
Can't you just... Spend 48 pixels? I like the idea, but it would take an eternity for the devs and the players to even make a simple shirt.
I think each race should have it's own racial cape, like a Leaf Cape (Floran), and Knight Cape (Glitch) I also think you should be able to obtain blueprints for racial clothing, and other vanity items
Catocat that is a fantastic idea! Ive thought of that myself I would be so happy to see some idea's of fans such as yourself have their idea's be added to the game at some point
You used to be able to get racial blueprints. I'm not sure if you still can though. If you can't, they're being reworked, since being able to craft other racial armors is something that Chucklefish really wants.
im on the fence about the designing part but i NEED to be able to dye my vanity, what if i want a bright purple bandit costume? now i have to do it the hard way (and somehow i always fail). so i need a clothe colouring crafting bench or something like that.
(to both of you) having a dye vat or something would be a nice first step! i wouldnt mind dying the hiker jacket and pants! and maybe the lab coat and stuff too...
