First off, i love 1.0. Its great to see how far the game has come. But there is still some small frustrations i face.

So, i enjoy the procedural quests that villagers on a planet can give out, and all my recruits are from them. But i have a bit of a frustration.

I found a Glitch town, and got a quest from it. They wanted me to gather items and craft something. Easy enough. They then wanted me to take them to a merchant at the "nearby overgrown caverns" or something similar. Easy too. except i was on the exact opposite side of the planet from it. If i walked left and right from them, the arrow would flip around, meaning it was as far as possible from me. But that was fine. I took them there, they got the item. they then asked me to take a note to someone in town. uh, ok. Went back to town, and the person gave me a note to take BACK to this guy sitting in the caverns. So i slog all the way back there, give them the note back.... And have to go back to the person in town AGAIN and the FINALLY back to the guy standing in the caverns. I traversed the planet at least 3 times over just getting 2 quests done and didnt even get a crew member out of it.

If the guy had gone back to town with me rather than stay as far as physically possible, i dont think i would have gotten so frustrated near the end of these.

Making two flags for teleportation Might fix this, but as of right now thats just a work around.

I love the procedural quests as they give a little bit of flavour and life to the colonies and towns, but that was pretty ridiculous.

yeah. it's a bumpy ride but if you take it slow it's 4-7 times faster than walking. and if you questmates don't get stuck, they'll just warp to you whenever they need to.

Definitely will take a look then.

I compulsively collect everything just to sell later(old Diablo 2 habit) so i have more pixels than i know what to do with.

Make a flag and plop it at the destination. Then use the ship to teleport directly.
