Not sure if this idea has been brought up before, but since gathering up coals all the time can be a slight pain in the a** (especially after about 20 planets...) a good idea would be the possibility to craft Solar panels, which are attachable on the outside of your Space Ship to gather up fuel slowly. The balance of the function is not on me, I wouldn't care if it is just the slightest to help you with your gatherings. Good or bad idea? Plus then Chuckelfish could say that they support renewable resources (It's good for the media after all!)
