So where's all the settlements?

In the 119 hours I've played so far I haven't yet found any Hylotl, Novakid or Human settlements/villages. What I have found are...

- Avian tombs
- Avian temples
- Avian villages
- Floran temples
- Floran villages
- Apex villages / apartment blocks
- Apex labs
- Human USCM Penal Colonies (prisoners taken over - is that always the case?)
- Human USCM Bunkers.
- Glitch villages
- Glitch castles
- Glitch wizard
- Mushroom villages
- Sewers

That's it. That might seem like a lot already but where are the Hylotlt and Novakid and are there any human settlements where they don't try to kill one of their own? The only Hylotl I've seen are at the Outpost and I've never seen a Novakid at all.

I'm going to assume only the above list is in the game right now and everything else is still yet to come. Either that or I've just been really unlucky and not found the others yet.

 

Your assumption is correct. There are no Hylotl, Human, or Novakid villages yet. The assets for Hylotl cities are in the game, though.

I have found a Floran Prison in addition to your list.

(Also yes, the USCM Prisons always have the prisoners in charge of them.)

 

Nowhere. There are no Hylotl, Novakid, or friendly Human dungeons.

 

that's because there not in yet as far as im aware.
you can find human dungeons with robots and the prison facility.

 

Well Novakids just got put in last update so I'm sure they will get their villages in the future, they are still lacking a lot actually. You got to remember the game is still in BETA so there is still a lot of content on the way.

 

There are also Floran prisons, but otherwise, yeah I think that's all so far, the rest if WIP/yet to come AFAIK.

I really hope they come up with Human settlements though at some point, and maybe towns/bases for various races in the underground layers (not just beneath the surface level like currently).

 

I guessed as much. I thought it strange that I wasn't finding anything more and now I know why! Well, since there's not much else to do now I guess I'll have to move on to other things for now. Hopefully there will be update in a few months time.

 

You know, I wouldn't mind seeing some non-rioted USCM Prisons. I mean, you'd still be treated as hostile, but with some wiring work done, you could do like in Floran prisons and let looks the prisoners on the guards. (Whether or not they'd then turn on you... well.)

Friendly Glitch castles wouldn't be bad either. An Apex maze with some test subjects stuck inside. Hell, an Avian temple or Apex lab taken over by revolutionaries.

Little more variety in the structures themselves would be great.

 

Scifi Dungeons still exist, I've encountered several of them.
