So, What Rare Things Have YOU Found In The Galaxy?

Last I checked, you can have up to four techs at once. Try clicking on the tech you don't have, and locking it into a separate slot on your ship.

Try finding a dungeon, or look for 'champion' mobs. They'll be bigger than normal ones (as far as I've seen) with particle effects. You should also mark a world with your stuff as your homeworld, then 'planet hop' the surface of a few lower level planets, wiping out bandits and the dungeon if the planet has any. Bandits/guards all drop weapons/stimpacks that can help you out greatly. You can also find some weapons (found a semi-decent spear, but I didn't like the swing speed) in chests underground while mining, with the added bonus of techs and such. Good luck!

 

just found a weak watersword that shoots damaging bubbles, also a rare shield, and a rare axe with fire.

Really nice, breaks blocks (huge area, not much power...)
Shoots bones, has a explosion around the area of impact.

Anyhow, I use my crafted steel longsword.

You can actually pan the camera like that as default without the All-Seeing Cape. BUT with the cape you can see further.

You can wield 4 techs at once yes, but you can't actually have them all activated.

 

Forgive the noob question, but exactly how do you pan the cam? Also, I didn't know that about the tech...I've only had one, Dash.


On a sad note, my character is corrupted, thus making me lose all progress and items. :/ I started on a new guy however, and lo and behold! Flowers! Everywhere! I haven't found many on other planets, so I'll share the name of the planet and it's co-ordinates in case anyone else wants moar petals. Name: Alpha Markab Majoris IV a X5625425 Y: -52628492

A pulse Jump tech that gives me a double jump.
So happy that I found it.

A flower backpack that use's the sun light to recharge the energy I don't really have anything to use it in the first place yet

Also a Green flash light because everything looks better in green when your in a dark tunnel.

 

I found a frogman (not hylotl) merchant who sold me bombs and a golden pickaxe.

 

The three cool treasures I've found (read: looted from NPC houses/corpses) have been a pulse jump tech (double jump!) and the Wizard's Scroll and Wizard's Hat. I am now a Leaping Space Wizard.

 

just found a level 26 rocket launcher (and yes you can blow yourself up)

 

So far, the only rare things I have found are a rum bottle, that seems to restore HP Over time. (It goes on your back) But then stops. Maybe it runs out of run or something? I also found some tech that's called "energy dash" that is very useful.

 

I'v found an awesome tech, Gravity Bubble, which basicly acts like a free elevator that can go up as high as you want

 

i killed a mini boss type monster and he dropped this skull hammer that shoots exploding bones and can break blocks when its swung and it does like 70 damage if you get close to the monsters

 

^ Looks like you killed a champion mob. They drop decent weapons when you kill them.

Alright! So that flower filled planet that I found in my last post? It has an Avian village that was filled to the brim with lore. I don't know if loot is different for every planet, but if you also walk to the right, you'll find a surface chest with a few molotov cocktails inside it too.

 

Ran into a super creepy biome while mining, everything's made of bone & flesh & "corrupted dirt".

 

The Seahorse Hacker. Dropped off a bird on my starting world It's a 2-handed sword with armor pen of 1, swing speed of 1.80, damage per swing of 17. and shoots bubbles when swung...Over all it's worthless seeing as you can make a much better weapon with a bit of iron. But it's fun non the less and looks cool.

 

Corrupted dirt? Was that its name? Because it reminds me of a biome I found filled with tar, bambones (edible bamboo made of bones), and bones.

Got two pictures for this post, I'm finding many things! First, for new players/players that don't know this: tech is found in chests that look like this.

Next, in that Avian village, I met this lovely lady who seems to like Daft Cluck.

Finally, a few updates about my gaming. I found a legendary weapon at last! It's a two-handed 'water sword' called Typhoon Horror. It shoots out a few bubbles with every swing! Pretty nifty, I can see why you guys like these things. In that tech chest up there I found Pulse Jump, so double yay! I dug down to magma level with just a copper pick, which I don't advise if you don't like taking forever to mine obsidian, but this was the odd part: has anyone else found pillar statues down there? Like something else was there before and erected them? I got kinda spooked and boogied out of there before I could find out otherwise.
