So, What Rare Things Have YOU Found In The Galaxy?

I found a "Gravity Neutraliser" at the end of a Apex testing facility (think Portal)

It is a hover mode

 

wow, some cool stuff there, i've found rusty axes, broadswords, spears, and shortswords. Oh yeah i did kill a bandit raiding party and one of them dropped a black bandana! (which gave 1 armor, 1 energy, and 1 heat, but looks very cool)

 

Oh! I've also found an avian ship moored to a planet with a really long anchor. But since I'm a Floran I kind of assumed they were hostile and killed half thier crew before I realized I should probably check...silly avians still sold me a gun. xD

I've gotten a golden pickaxe, but I have some platinum from a glitch village and just a few more and I can upgrade it. My favorite planets are the sand ones because easy mining, just hit the bottom and it uproots all the ores from the sands. Also that sawblade cultist thing I've found too. xD

Been playing since I got the key for it basically so I've had a lot of time to explore.

e/ And I have a crown from killing a glitch king.

 

I found a cape that allows me to pan the camera any direction I choose, and I found a sword that has lower base damage than the starter sword but that sets enemies on fire.

 

I found something that has made the long trips between planets infinitely more enjoyable - An acoustic guitar, on which I can play 'canon in d'. Whoever it was who put that in, my respect goes to you.

 

I've seen those guys a few times. I mostly focus on sniping them because they were MASSIVE beasties.

Nice find! The starting planet still has great loot, especially when you go mining and find chests deep down. I found my Dash tech on my first world, down at the level where silver spawns in abundance.

 

I found something similar. It is a red two-handed weapon that looks almost like a sharp one-eyed squid. It's similar because it shoots fireballs on each swing.

Literally found it inside my first cave.

 

Ive gotten the crown from the glitch king in his castle (pretty sucky though got 1 armor and some energy regen), also found a crazy mushroom shield! also got both double dash and double jump, shame you can only equip one tech oh and yeah! i found two instruments, bass guitar and an organ

 

I found this sword! It's a bubble sword and when I take a swing it spews out random bubbles that hurt enemies. It's really silly and I find it useful as I am low level right now.

 

There's also a piano, oboe, and harp.

 

I found a Legendary Sword - Eyeball Renderer

 

I got an eyeball battleaxe of some kind that has a base damage of 58 that hits really slowly

 

Found a badass crappyuncommonaxe that is one shotting most enemies.

Armor Pen 8 for the win =D

Downside? It's slow. But who cares. OHKOs HOOOOO!

I have a Platinum Pickaxe, if that counts. I got extremely lucky and found a couple of high-tech chests with Platinum bars. I just got out of the alpha sector, but I used it for collecting the insane amount of ores required for that distress beacon. I also found a Dash tech in another high-tech chest, though I really wish it had been the double jump tech instead.

Where are all of you finding these awesome sounding weapons? I haven't had enemies drop anything except pixels or leather/meat...

edit: I forgot to mention, I also found a metal drum. I can play Canon in D on it, and I'm hoping that I can find more songs too.

 

the only "rare" items I have found is a Hikers backpack (just a cosmetic I think) and some scientists glasses

 

i found shark hat and some superman pants
and forgot also got instrument : ocarina

 

I had found a microphone (female) in a glitch base/laboratory. I'm guessing it's an instrument.

 

Also got the bone-hammer that shoots bones and breaks blocks, insane weapon as long as it's on-level. Rare mobs on desert planets seem to drop these, found two of them.

Also got some nice cosmetic items, a pirate coat from a cultists secret stash, the crown and large scroll back-item from a glitch castle and a monocle, don't remember where I found that one.

 

A microphone and a mushroom shield. Both are equally awesome
